The sad countdown begins to the last Messy Box! June's box is the third-to-last, as August will be the final one. Let's enjoy it while we can!
Set of 4 Scrapbooking Sheets (9" x 12")
June's theme is T R A V E L ! Summertime is, of course, the time where many of us plan road trips, vacations, or visits to pals in other corners of the country or world. These large heavy scrapbooking sheets kick the theme off with pleasing pastel abstract patterns, a roadmap-style sheet, and one stating "Let's Pack Our Things and Go". Yes, please.
Set of 4 Large Journal Cards (4" x 6")
The large journaling cards follow suit and feature more pleasing arrays of summer trip vibes. All of them are double-sided, as always, so there are plenty of places to jot down playlists, packing lists, or whatever other kinds of lists that you will need to get moving! Loving that little mixtape. My fave!
Set of 8 Small Journal Cards (3" x 4")
The small journal cards offer an even larger bunch of cute travel-themed drawings like suitcases, palm trees, and passports, with spaces to draw and doodle or make more lists! There are some fun quotes, as well, to motivate you to seek out new destinations, or write about where you've been!
Set of 12 Square Journal Cards (3" x 3")
Shrinking down to the smallest square cards makes us go up in quantity. There are the most of these little gals here, so you have twelve ways (or 24, if you count both sides) to express the fun you've had on your trips. The sunglasses and camera drawings are my fave of this bunch!
Messy Box also throws in some extras to "up" your journaling game.
Chipboard Alphabet
This alphabet reminds me of stencils, even though you can just paint or color them to spell something out or emphasize something in your scrapbook! There is only one of each letter though, so choose what you do with them wisely!
Mini Bunting Sticker Sheet
Not sure if these are actually supposed to be bunting, but that's what they look like to me. Emma from A Beautiful Mess said she likes to use them on the top of photos, which is a cute idea! Kind of like those speech-bubble stickers I had as a kid that you could stick all over family vacation photos.
Verdict: This Messy Box was super cute, and as always, was really well designed. The travel theme was perfect for the beginning of summer, and the colors they used invoked warm, sunny feelings. This box is certainly worth the $24.99 if you are a scrapbooker or into journaling because you get so much in here to create with.
