I signed up July 13th. This means I’ll get the July box, right? I REALLY want it!

I got my box and surprisingly loved it. The blush and lipstick are both beautiful colors (so rare for a subscription box). The blush is like a shimmery cool pink and the lipstick is a lovely neutral pink mauve with a great formula. The scrub is a nice cinnamon scrub.
I haven’t tried the rest, but it was a nice variety of products. I like how they included more items this time around than usual and that they are continuing the trend of including the discount codes for the products if you want to buy the full-size.

Canceling this box ASAP! Terrible products and not even worth 10$

The Wanderout Lipstick is not full size, it is half of a full size. Full size lipstick is .14 oz at $30.00, while what we got was .07 oz correct value half price at $15.00.

The full size is dual ended and has two different shades on either end. We received only one shade. Therefore it is full sized for the one shade we received. I am very happy with the shade we received. I have gotten way too many weird browns and dark reds this spring and summer from various boxes. This color is much better for summer. I like the formula too.

Yes, you will! First-time subscribers receive it. I did months ago when I signed up and LOVE it! The colors are fantastic, blend beautifully and have real staying power. That alone is worth it to sign up! It’s normally over $30 for the palette!

I love the Allure beauty box. May and June were my first boxes. Today I used the free eye shadow that came with the box, and I loved it! It is definitely going to be a favorite.

I am so excited for this box! Allure is my all time favorite subscription. There have only been a few times that I didn’t love everything they sent me but when that happens I just gift it and make someone else’s day.

I’m so happy I cancelled last month.. the only thing I would use is the facial oil… Allure used to be one of my favorite subs.. I guess it’s just not for me anymore.

June and July seems good. Hopefully they keep it up my sister and I were going to cancel…but June saved them and July looks great…. so many bad months before but it’s seems to be getting back on track. I just don’t care for false advertising they put these names up live nars, cargo, ECT….this is first thing in almost two years of cargo never any nars or other names they advertised.

Hi all, Just wanted to give you all a $ Tip.
Yesterday I called and told Allure I wanted to cancel because I was not thrilled with July Sept box. She offered me $10 a month for 4 months if I stayed so I said heck yeah!
That’s saving me $20😍

Thanks for the tip, Paula!
(I have no intention of unsub’ing, but I won’t turn down an offer to save $20 😉)

Does anyone know how to access Allures referral program? They claim that they have one, but I can’t figure out how to refer a friend?

I referred a friend a few months ago. I didn’t find a way to do it on the site, so I sent an email to their customer service. They replied that in order to get a referral bonus the friend had to sign up through their site. I then moved to chat and asked where the referral link could be accessed. They did not know. No kidding…..I just had to sit for a moment and ponder how awesome they were. 🙄 So I replied that I thought I would just cancel my subscription. They put me on chat hold and then came back and said they would send the bonus box THIS time, but I would have to go through the site if I referred someone else. Again, I asked how to find this and yep……they didn’t know. They mumbled something about their system was being updated and to check back the next month. About four weeks later, my bonus arrived. It was the exact box for the month before which I already had!!! And it was definitely not one of their better boxes. Go home Allure, you’re drunk. 😸

TRY THAT LIP SCRUB it’s amazing. I got one in my Lola beauty box and I love it. It works like magic and not only does it remove all the dead skin but it makes your lips glisten.

At first I couldn’t believe it was another cargo blush but I don’t have anything water resistant so I’m actually looking forward to it.
Folks talked about all the salt sprays last summer. I didn’t receive any so I added one to my Julep box last month. Not for one moment did I think I would receive one in every box this summer. I thought perhaps the fad was over. Nope. I guess I should actually try one before passing judgement. Any thoughts on which one might be the best?

I received a Redkin 07 full size in one of my boxes last summer, and it is by far the only salt spray I liked. I mostly hate salt spray, but imo Redkin is the best. I have course, curly, hair.

I think the new thing is sugar hair sprays. The salt sprays are drying on the hair while sugar sprays give the same beachy pieces look but are moisturizing instead of drying.

Oh, this makes me even more excited. The only thing in this that’s a repeat item from anything else for me is the lip scrub, and I can pass that along to my mom. I got the full size in a Boxycharm and haven’t tried it yet. I know there are probably people who are like “no more Briogeo” but I’ve never received any of their line in any of my subs yet, so I’m looking forward to trying it for myself.

I think they did a great job with the curation covering all area’s of skin care, hair care, make up and summer without duplicating products *coughs*SEPHORA*coughs* This looks like a really well rounded box despite some things I won’t use (will just put up for swap) Good job Allure, really stepping up your box game!

OK, must admit I am a wee bit disappointed by July (my birthday month) & the much hyped 7 items that were to be included.
Particularly after June & the mini spoilers we’ve seen for the other upcoming boxes…. this one is OK.
My goal in sub’ing to several different boxes is twofold – to try out brands & products I otherwise might not. The July box offers me a partial new experience. I have received enough blush to last me a year already & unless you count sweating in 100 heat as being “underwater” certainly don’t care if it’s waterproof. I never blow out my curly hair (my mom will get the Brigeo & someone else the Redken.) I’m withholding judgement on the lipstick till I see it in person. Yeah, great it’s FULL size, however it means nothing if it’s an old lady shade of pink.
I haven’t tried any lip scrubs, I’ll never say no to a sheet mask (even though I just got 2 of the exact one from BeautyFix) & I love oils. At least these will stay with me!

I’m with you on the light pink…and the nude. Give me red an coral all day long

The comments on the lipstick shade have been really positive. There are women and girls of all ages on here that share an interest in the latest trends in makeup and skin care. The most common complaint about lipstick color I see is against a bright red, not “old lady pink”, whatever that is. And Anna Wintour is 67.
