The box came with this full-color brochure featuring more information about the items and brands included in the box.
This adds so much to the subscription for me - it's great to read the stories and inspirations behind each product in the box.
Now, on to the items!
The Mason Bar Company Tumbler Set - Value $14
This set comes with a 24-ounce wide mouth mason jar tumbler, a lid, and a stainless steel straw:
I love that everything is made in the USA, dishwasher safe, and BPA- free!
Plus, this mint color is lovely!
And here is everything put together:
I love this as a tumbler, but it would also be perfect as a vase. (I'm really loving that it doesn't have the traditional mason jar shape!)
Stainless steel + mint = gorgeous!
Altru Journal + Bookmark Set - Value $25?
Altru is an in-house brand from CAUSEBOX + Tribe Alive, so I'm estimating on the value.
This bookmark is made from recycled cotton to form a thick cardstock, with pink marbling and gold foil text.
It's inspirational, and the flip side tells you more about the makers:
Both the bookmark and the notebook are made from cotton that is a waste product of "fast fashion" and would otherwise be in a landfill.
Mint, pink, and polka dot! I am obsessed with the colors featured in this box!
This lined notebook is really well made, too. It feels more like a bound hardcover book than a notebook!
Kalos Triple Threat Detox Mask - 50 ml Value $32.50
This mask is designed to help cleanse, nourish and exfoliate. It's made with natural and organic ingredients, including raspberry seeds, which help with the exfoliation.
The formula takes about 30 minutes to dry, and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth without drying it out!
Haiti Design Co Tassel - Value $22?
(I'm estimating value based on similar items.)
First, good to know: Haiti Design Co has their own subscription box! (Let me know if you'd like to see it reviewed!)
This leather comes from a locally owned tannery in Haiti, and it is full-grain vegetable tanned cowhide. (AKA it is quality leather that should last for a long time!)
I think my keychain could use a makeover - and this will be a classy update!
And Haiti Design Co. also included a coupon for 20% off of your next purchase.
Nashelle Single Wave Ring - Value $48
This adjustable ring is made of 14K gold fill. And for every piece of jewelry sold, Nashelle donates a plate of food!
(Ring modeled in lower photo.)
And Nashelle also included a coupon for 20% off of your first purchase.
Pura Vida Bracelet Set - Value $10
This set includes two different pastel bracelets.
If you like this style of bracelet, I recommend checking out my reviews of the Pura Vida Bracelet Club - you get 3 bracelets a month for $15.
These bracelets are made with wax coated threads so they are waterproof and easy to pull the adjustable bands.
(You can adjust them to make them as loose as you like. If the bracelet ends are too long on your wrist, check out this YouTube tutorial for how to shorten the ends!)
Here are the bracelets and ring on:
I think these are my favorite Pura Vida bracelets of all time! (Can you tell I'm obsessed with the colors in this box?)
All Good Coconut SunStick SPF 30 - Value $7
This natural sunscreen is designed for easy application to your face. (It goes on clear, and needs minimal rubbing in.) The formula is a little greasy (as you'd expect with a stick formula), and the natural scent is subtle.
And All Good products included a coupon for 30% off of your next order.
Pure Moringa Vegetable Powder Green Superfood - 2 Packets Value $3
This vegetable powder is just 100% organic Moringa leaf powder, and provides a great of amount of iron and other nutrients. I like the minimal ingredients, and I found this easy to blend in my smoothie. (They also recommend cooking with it in sauces.) And CAUSEBOX includes a Green Goodness smoothie recipe on page 21 of your booklet!
I can't weigh in on the benefits since I only sampled it once so far, but this article makes it sound promising!
They included a coupon to save 25% off of a 7.4 oz bag, too.
Relax Print
Every season, CAUSEBOX sends out a new 5" X 7" art print from a different artist. For the welcome box, you also get this wood frame, to display your print. (Check out my review of the Welcome Box to see the frame.)
This is my favorite print to date! I love the palm leaves, gold foil text, and the message that seems perfect for summer!
Verdict: It's difficult to calculate a value for this box since there are so many exclusive items, but I'm estimating that this box has a value of about $161! I think that's a great deal for a $54.95 that supports fair trade and gives back to the community. (And it's even better for the $44.95 cost when you sign up with coupon code WELCOME10.)
And I LOVE the curation for summer! The colors and items are perfect!
