Cuddle Crate is a monthly subscription box for pets. You can opt for a dog box (choose your dog size), a cat box, or a small animal box (select gerbil/hamster or rabbit/guinea pig). You can also combine pet types with higher tier subscriptions (i.e., get a combined cat/rabbit box) and opt for a bi-monthly box if monthly is too often for you.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Beco Family Millie the Mouse – Value $6.49
I’ve seen dog toys from this brand, but this is our first cat toy from Beco. This toy is eco-friendly and made from recycled plastic bottles. This must have some good catnip, because Sneaky was interested and Monkey was rolling all over it (and neither one of them feels so great lately–Sneaky’s having asthma trouble and Monkey has laryngitis).
Pet Zone Bumpin’ and Groovin’ Instinct Toys – Value $6.28
Small mouse toys are usually a win. Angus liked these. At one point, he was playing with both of them at the same time.
Smarty Kat Leapin’ Laser – Value $5.99
This is the best cat toy we’ve received in awhile. Not only is it a dangly toy on a stick (Sneaky’s and Angus’s favorite thing), but it has a laser pointer in it, too. Now, most of the laser pointer toys you get in cat subscription boxes are weak and don’t work very well. But this one was great. Even Mr. Kitty got in on the laser-chasing action, and he doesn’t even see very well.
Bavarian Cat Toy Welli Sticks – Value $7.49
Ah, Bavarian Cat Toy stuff. There is a reason these are still in the plastic in this photo. They are stinky, stinky, stinky. Like old sweaty socks or something. Monkey loves them, though, and you can see a photo of them out of the box down below.
Buddy Biscuits in Tender Chicken, 3 oz. – Value $3.16
These are a pretty standard treat for cat subscription boxes. They are semi-moist and made in the USA and were especially popular with Madison, Sneaky, and Angus.
Gratuitous cat photo time:
Angus plays with the dangly wand.
Angus is also interested in the laser pointer…
…and the mouse toys…
…and the treats!
Madison was mostly interested in treats. If not for those, I don’t think I could get him to even come partway out from under the bed…
Monkey actually liked the stinky valerian toys a lot.
But it was mostly the little gray mouse that was his favorite.
Sneaky liked the gray mouse, too.
And she is not above playing with dangly toys. (She’s on prednisolone for her asthma, though, so she’s kind of fat and slow right now.)
What mostly interests Sneaky is treats, of course.
I am always happy when there is evidence that Mr. Kitty can still see. Here he is, slapping the laser pointer dot (and possibly, in the second picture, slapping Angus.).
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $29.00 for the June Cuddle Crate for cats box. That is a little bit over the month-to-month cost of the box. In terms of the items, though, this is the best Cuddle Crate we’ve received for a long time. Everything was popular, and I got my cats who normally don’t want to play with toys to play—even a few cats who aren’t feeling 100% right now. We (I mean, the cats and I) were all very happy with this box.
What do you think of the June Cuddle Crate? Do you subscribe to any dog or cat boxes?
