Ellie is a workout wear + gear subscription! Each month you'll receive a complete outfit and some additional workout accessories/tools.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Ellie

The Cost: $49.95

The Products: "Every month you’ll receive 5 amazing items for your active lifestyle. Your usual box can include a sports bra, a top, leggings or capris, a jacket, accessories (a tote maybe), and a piece of equipment."

Check out all of Ellie reviews!

Bally Low Impact Seamless Bra - Value $18

This bra has a mesh back design with removable cups.

This bra is super soft and stretchy - great for low impact workouts, and comfortable enough to want to wear around the house. I really love the back, but the straps in the front don't sit perfectly across my chest, so I have a bit of saggy strap look - not a flattering style!

Marika Push Up Pink Top - Retail Value $40?

This is the perfect workout top for me - lightweight, loose fitting, and stretchy!

And the black strap detail of the sports bra showing through is cute, too.

Balance Collection Lexi Fashion Legging - Value $40?

These leggings are SO soft! The compression is light, so they are really comfortable, too.

The cutout details on the sides are fun, too. But as you can see in this picture, one of the ankle straps is really loose and sticks out on my leg. Not great.

Marika Headband - Value $3?

I was surprised to see that this workout headband didn't have a grippy side! It stayed on my head for a few minutes tops before slipping off.

Zobha Hair Ties - Value $5?

(I really hope Ellie includes clothing pieces from Zobha in future boxes - I love the look of their clothes.) But these hair ties are useful for now!

Bally Magnetic Towel - Value $8

At first, I thought the magnetic part of this towel description was just ad-copy, but no, it actually has a magnet in it!

The Bally logo on the corner has a magnet to let you attach it to your workout machine of choice!

Drawstring Bag – Value $2?

Ellie has included a black drawstring bag in every box I've received so far. Personally, I don't think this is necessary each month.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $116. I think that's a good value for the cost (I had to estimate on some pieces, though.) The outfit is cute this month, but not everything fit me well, so this box wasn't great for me.

One other thing to note that some MSA readers mentioned - Ellie does not always send out the same outfit to all subscribers. So, you may receive substitutes for some of the spoiled items. Keep that in mind if you are considering subscribing.

This looks like a pretty nice box (ankle strap aside). Once again, I really wish they offered plus sizes. The clothes items are super cute plus you get the fun fitness bonuses. Fabletics and AdoreMe only offer clothes. These other fitness subscriptions are so much more fun. Plus size ladies work out too, not just fit ones. I don’t know why they don’t cater to larger ladies who are trying to lose or maintain weight.

I think its because they carry more revealing/tight workout clothing options.

I loved this box!! My tank was a little different but everything fit perfectly. And I actually wear the headband all the time – perfect size for me! The hair ties stretched out too much, but they work fine for a low bun for sleeping. The May box was awesome too – I keep thinking I’ll skip a month but the spoilers always get me.

I like the pants and the towel. I received a different shirt that I like a little bit less than your. I was so excited about the pretty, new hair ties, but they are totally useless. I wore each one once and they stretched out completely. Still a decent box though.
