FittedTot is a children’s clothing rental subscription. They offer clothing for children’s sizes 3 months through 5T.
When you sign up, you answer some basic questions (boy/girl, sizing, season, etc). Then you receive a box with 3 play outfits, 1 premium outfit or dress, and 1 pair of pajamas. All the clothing comes to you pre-washed in Dreft (hypoallergenic detergent).
There are no fees if something happens and the clothing gets damaged or stained while your child is wearing it. They ask that you send the item back and they’ll try to get the stain out or repair it. If they can’t, it gets recycled.

Tea Floral Trapeze Dress – Cost to keep: $17.70
I love trapeze dresses. They have just the right amount of swing and are always so comfortable to wear. My daughter loved this dress too. Tea is a splurge brand for our family and I was very excited to see three pieces by Tea in our box this month. I like their classic color palettes and well-made pieces that last and last.
Tea Green Flower Cap Sleeve Top - Cost to keep: $17.70
This crisp blouse has beautiful jewel tones and is a nice longer style. I think it pairs equally well with bubble shorts or leggings for cooler days. I was a little surprised the price to keep the shirt was as much as the Tea brand dress, but I think any items by Tea for less than $20 are a steal.
Tea Denim Bubble Shorts - Cost to keep: $17.70
These shorts have a comfortable elastic waist band which means easy on and off for independent dressers like my daughter. She likes to get ready herself in the morning but struggles a bit with buttons and snaps, so this style short is ideal for us. The denim is lightweight, more of a chambray fabric and we both love the bubble, poofy style.
Cat & Jack Pineapple Romper – Cost to keep: $5.00
Cat & Jack is one of my favorite brands for the kids and is sold exclusively (I believe) at Target. This bright pink romper is a soft cotton knit with shimmery gold pineapples. One shoulder strap has two snaps which made it easy to get my daughter in and out of it. This is just my style and the kind of piece I would have grabbed had I seen it while out shopping. There was a faint stain at the base of the pockets, almost like faded out ink. Since these pieces are used, I’m sure the occasional stain might be missed when the boxes are packed up and shipped out.
Kapital K Pin Stripe Dress – Cost to keep: $19.80
What a darling striped dress! I love the eyelet trim at the hem and the seersucker gray print. The drawstring waist gives the dress some definition so it has more of a flattering shape. The pearly snaps and diagonal striping on the patch pockets are other details that made this a stand out piece to me.
Carter’s Fluttering Past Bedtime PJs - Cost to keep: $7.00
These butterfly print pajamas are bright and cheery. I prefer to keep my kids in more fitted knit cotton pajamas, but my daughter will wear these on lounge around the house days if not to actually sleep.
Verdict: This was a great FittedTot box. I think it’s a great idea to have a clothing rental service for young children who change sizes so rapidly. It can be frustrating to buy 5 pairs of pants for your child and a month later they have a growth spurt and the pants no longer fit. A box like this solves that problem. All of the clothes (except one) were in perfect condition and everything fit well. My daughter had fun trying on her new outfits and the ease of mailing everything back (or keeping the items at really reasonable prices) made this a wonderful box for us to try.
