Good Being Box Subscription Review – June 2017

Good Being box is a natural and organic beauty box. Each month you'll receive a box customized to your beauty profile. (This is a box that will have some variation between subscribers.)

You also get to pick two of your products each month!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Good Being Box

The Cost: $21 a month

The Products: Eco-friendly beauty and wellness products.

Ships to: US only.

Check out my Good Being reviews and the Eco-friendly Subscription Box Directory for similar boxes!

Every box comes with cards detailing each product.

Now, on to the items!

NOTO Multi Benne Tint Lips + Eyes + Cheeks - .07 oz Value $18

This was my first product pick for the month.

(Confession - I picked this item last month, too! I really liked it, and there weren't other sample options that we're calling my name.)

The full-size version of this comes in a jar, but I prefer the stick - so much better for applying to your lips! It's made with natural and organic ingredients, and the peppermint flavor was a nice surprise! It's a pretty bold red for my lips, but it blends easily, and you can tone it down by using only one swipe.

Here it is swatched:

Andalou Naturals Luminous Eye Serum - FULL SIZE! Value $19.95

(This is my second item pick for the month.) I can't say no to full-size eye-serum, right?

This formula is made with natural, organic and fair trade ingredients. It's also vegan and cruelty-free! It's designed to give your skin a lighter, tighter, and brighter appearance. (It has caffeine, too.)

The applicator is perfect for gliding along under your eyes, and up to your brow bone. The formula took a while to absorb and it was a little tingly on my skin when I first applied it. It's made my skin look more hydrated, but I haven't noticed any other differences, so this probably isn't a good fit for my skin needs.

Andalou Naturals Styling Cream - 1.7 oz Value $2.50

While the other Andalou item wasn't a hit for me, this styling cream is perfect! Again, the ingredients are excellent, and it has this amazing subtle sweet orange scent. It adds a little texture to my hair without weighing it down - I love it!

Pacifica Setting Brow Gloss - FULL SIZE! Value $14

If you are looking for a natural eyebrow gel that helps keep your brows in place but doesn't make them frozen in place, this is a good one.

I didn't find the formula to be thickening as promised, though. I'm wondering if that's just for the non-clear versions?

Para Kito Mosquito Repellent - 5 Packets Value $5

Not an exciting beauty item, but definitely a necessary one!

This mosquito repellent is ingredient-conscious, and looking at Amazon reviews, it seems to work really well, too. I don't mind the scent, either. It's a citronella + mint blend absorbed almost instantly into my skin.

I really like these little sample cards, too! They break in the middle (no scissors needed) and are perfect for storing in my purse and glove compartment for whenever I need them.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $60. That's great for a $21 natural beauty box, especially when you consider that Good Being lets you pick two of your samples every month. All the samples are good sizes, too. And I discovered a new hair care product and bug repellent that I will buy more of in the future!

What do you think of the June Good Being Box? Which products did you pick this month?

Had to temper my review by stating because I ordered my June sub late, I did not get the oppty. to customise my choices & I also received a bottle of an anti blemish oil serum that is possibly the 3rd item in the box that I liked. I haven’t tried that item yet.

Let this box be a warning to people to NOT shop online while intoxicated or under the influence of pain killers!

I wound sub’ing to this box & then tried to cancel. After a very nice round of emails, I somehow got to convinced to not only stay, but then also purchase a 3 month sub. Because of this review, I asked if I could begin my sub with the June box & they were agreeable.

I will say this for Good Being – they have EXCELLENT customer service.

Sadly my June box was not like this June box. I got the Brow gel – in golden brown, which turns out to match my brows though initially looked like it might be too light. Best product in the lot!

The rest – an Andalou rose scented body lotion – ugh! Roses & body lotion. It’s definitely getting regifted. Those mosquito packets are going to my nieces & nephews who spend time outside, since I don’t. The other item I received is a little pot of a purple-ish glittery powder (?) or cream, not sure the purpose yet, but most likely going to a more adventurous make up wearer.

But because I signed up as a new customer, thrown in was an exfoliating face wash. I used it this morning too. Very creamy, not really exfoliating, but overall my face felt very smooth. Natural ingredients. Can’t say I’m mad.

Out of the entire box, I liked the brow gel & the free face scrub. Definitely canceling after my 3 month term is up.

Also, people should be aware that they require you to pay a month upfront due to their new customization options. They charged me $25 and tried to charge another $25 before I got my 1st box. Liz I wish you would add this information because I signed up with the free full size product ad and also didn’t get it. I ended up canceling due to their crazy new pricing system.
