Each month, Loot Crate will release a theme that spans across their Core Crate, Loot Pets, Loot Wear, and Loot Crate DX. This month's theme was GUARDIANS.
Each delivery comes with an information card with details on each item in the box.
Shield Sliders - Value $10?
This month included a fairly simple beef treat in patty form - or shield shapes.
They are a tad big for our dog, but they can easily break apart for even more treats.
You can see the determination in Buckles' eyes!
This is his best T-Rex impression. Needless to say, he's a fan of these - they're nice and chewy, which is his preference.
Rocket Raccoon Bottle Toy - Value $15?
This month's toy features Rocket Raccoon - simply replace the bottle at the base of the toy any time you need more puppy fun.
Rocket is decked out in his Guardians gear, too!
Buckles had fun nudging this and pushing it over - but since he's never been into plastic bottles, this was a miss for him.
Bark 'n Bite Nylon Toy - Value $10?
The last item in the box is a peanut butter flavored nylon bone. Our dog doesn't like hard plastic toys, but the peanut butter did cause a little double take and some sniffing - in the end, Penelope got a new toy!
Verdict: At $20 a month, the value is definitely there for all of these items - but, like us, you may need another puppy to share with just in case your dog doesn't like all of the items. At a value of $30-35, it does give you some wiggle room if your dog doesn't like one of the items, though. It also appears that they have dropped the collar charms entirely, making this one of the first months without a wearable item - so things are changing a bit here.
