The first thing you will notice in your box is this envelope filled with super helpful information cards, including a list of all of the products in the box.
Next, you will find a card all about this month’s moon and June’s is the Strawberry Moon. I love the graphic on the front of the card, definitely going to frame it!
Lastly, is the card with the names and descriptions of the crystals you received, both interesting and helpful.
Anima Mundi Apothecary Lucid Dreaming Elixir, 2 oz. - Value $16
Per the instructions given with this box, I poured about 2 teaspoons of this elixir into the Fruits to the Roots tea. I was a little nervous about trying this because I already have lucid dreams pretty often, but I actually think this did the opposite for me because of that fact. I did dream, but I can’t remember it. It was sort of lucid, but nothing like I’m used to. I am going to continue trying this though by using a little more. The directions say you can use up to a full tablespoon. Also, I should note that this smelled and tasted pretty strongly on its own, but in the tea, I could barely taste it!
Fruits to the Roots Tea - Value $5?
So I am not a huge tea fan, but I really liked this tea! I was also concerned that I might not be able to make it since I don’t have a diffuser, but I used a french press and it worked perfectly. The flavors in this tea are strawberries, hibiscus, white tea, vanilla, rosehips, and nettle leaf. Along with the dream elixir, I put some honey in this tea and it was perfectly sweet and tasty! This blend is not available for sale, so the value is based on similar teas.
‘Son Rain’ Aromatherapy Spray, 2 oz. - Value $19.99 ‘
I sprayed this on my bed and also into my spinning fan to spread around the scent. I am not a huge fan of patchouli and this did definitely smell like it, but it wasn’t too strong so I actually liked it. A friend came over earlier and when she smelled it, she said that it smelled like a yoga studio. I definitely agree and it made me feel relaxed!
Roll-On Full Moon Essential Oil Elixir - Value $10?
I tried this on my wrist and it smelled mildly citrusy, but it does have lime and blood orange in it. I liked it because it wasn’t too strong but just had a simple and elegant scent. Of course, if you want to actually have other people smell your scent, this isn’t the one for you. This is something you would maybe put on after a shower or bath to relax and have a subtle citrus/herb scent.
As a bonus, this small drawstring muslin-esque bag was included. You can use this bag to carry your jewelry in when you travel or it would be good to keep your crystals in something more sturdy
Quartz, Peacock Ore, and Sodalite Crystals - Value $10?
Crystals are chosen each month specifically for the new moon. In this month's box, you will find Quartz, Peacock Ore, and Sodalite. The directions say to hold these in your left hand and meditate on the sensation.
If you want to share your experience with the Gaia community, there is a handy card in the box with all the info on it!
Speaking of the Moonbox Community, this little booklet included in your box has a bunch of information in it, but at the end, there is a place for you to write your full moon intentions.
Lastly, there is a coupon for 1 month free of Lunar Yoga for Women included.
Verdict: Overall I kind of loved this box! Not only do you receive directions with the box, but you also receive an email beforehand with more information on setting intentions and really getting the most out of your box. Everything in this box was high quality and something you wouldn’t necessarily be able to find at your local store which is something I really liked.
There is an estimated $61 worth of products in this month's box, but a few values are guesses. Even so, the dreaming elixir and aromatherapy spray values exceed the $31.50 box cost ($29.50 + $2 shipping). If this kind of spiritual and cosmic stuff is something you are interested in then I would definitely recommend this Moonbox!
