Play! By Sephora June 2017 Box #083 FULL SPOILERS!

I just received my 083 box and I was not excited about it at all. In fact I cancelled my subscription over these spoilers. However, I actually really liked the KDub I was surprised that it didn’t look horrible on and I just put a little of my nude gloss over it and it was really pretty especially for summer. The tinted moisturizer was a hit as well. Long story short. I was surprised that I found two great products in this “disappointing” box.

So I got box 083. I have medium complexion, I live in Hawaii, and have color treated hair. I’m pretty sure I don’t need tinted moisturizer and self-tanning face wipes. I also have fine, mildly wavy hair so the curl charisma isn’t something that would benefit either. This was my first box, and may be my last. *sigh* such a disappointment.

Ok I have box 083 and I am really NOT happy about it. Im not usually picky. I mean, the box is $10, Im not expecting miracles but, There isnt much Im looking forward to. I particularly look forward to trying perfume as that is sort of my “thing” but, this perfume as literally 1 review and its 3 stars and not a great review 🙁

They missed the mark this time 🙁

Bummer. I would have preferred any other box than 083.

What a disappointment this box is. This is my 5th box and every time I have gotten the worst/lowest value configuration. None of the products except maybe the Tarte depending on the color work for me. The lippie is horrifying. Very few women could wear that color. Such garbage. I am done.

I’m actually super excited for this box. I’ve always wanted to try TarteGuard. Also, I’m always stoked for liquid lipstick no matter what the color is. I’m very lit about the Briogeo product. I’ve heard great things about their products but I’ve never wanted to drop money on it. Bumble and Bumble always makes good products. Lastly, I recently got into self-tanning so this box is perfect for me.

I’m getting this box and I am super underwhelmed. Why the heck are they sending TWO products that basically are the same thing (both hair products are for air drying and wave/curl)?! Also, Kdub probably looks good on like .01% of the population. Tarte & Dr. Dennis Gross products are somewhat interesting. I’m getting closer and closer to canceling my Play subscription.

This is so weird though no one has mentioned my box yet and I have 071. It seems like every month my box is not mentioned or shown on the spoilers. Most of my boxes have been great!

I cancelled as well. I literally feel disappointment every month with Play. Why subscribe to be disappointed each month?

Noooooooooo I’m #083 this is terrible I don’t even have curly hair it’s wavyish but not that wavy and I don’t want k-dub and I don’t like the perfume and I don’t self tan…omg this sucks 🙁

RIP Sephora Play! My Ipsy is much better then this! I will try to swap the entire box😞

I’m really disappointed in the beauty products. Was not expecting this variation for me. Only like kvd. Oh well. Cancelled subscription.

I’m getting #059. If that box contained the Lovesick KVD lippie I will trade with someone for k-dubs. I’m more of a bright lippie kind of girl.

I’m 042 and honestly I don’t even care what’s in my box. Aside from the pore-fessional there is not a single thing I would use or even want.
Just cancelled my subscription. No regrets.

I don’t love this one, which is good, because I’m 075 this month.

I’d be happy with the Ouai, the Porefessional, the FAB, or the Kat Von D.

Please no on the self tanner or the tinted moisturizer.

One of the rewards that is in the Rewards Bazaar to redeem Sephora points is one variation of the May 2017 box. They have it listed as a 500 Sephora point reward, which I guess makes sense since it is 5 items.

I like sheering out nicer lip glosses as eyeshadow, and the kdub might work for that, but I don’t know if I could make it work even as touch of color topper on a lipstick… I’d, underwhelmed, but maybe I will be surprised when I start playing with the items. Worst case, I can just cancel. I hate briogeo, they are the manna kadar of hair products in sub boxes for me. Too frequent, and I am rarely impressed.

I’m getting this one and just about everything is opposite of my profile. A single self tanning thing? What a load of crap. Another bright and unusable matte lip color? See ya Sephora. Play is joining Birchbox on my “things to cancel” list.

I dodged the bullet on this one, thank goodness! I have box #042 and I’m hoping for the Coola Setting Spray or the Fab Primer. All of the boxes are underwhelming this month though.

My box is 067. Not thrilled about anything in these boxes . Probably going to cancel this. I’m sad to say I’m bored with this one and boxycharm.t

I’ve seen a lot of people who seem like they aren’t sure about this but just a PSA- Don’t Blow It is not for blow outs. It is for when you want to air dry. 🙂

Is there any chance these aren’t confirmed? 🙁
why are these boxes so bad lately? The formulations make zero sense for me therefore it will All be up for swaps. Would have loved to try the KVD but, well… no.
I am thinking I will give it one more month.
