Super Cute Box is a subscription box from the UK that sends you a mix of cute Stationery, Jewelry, Homeware, Accessories, and Crafts.

(It's mailed in a tiny box, so there won't be any large items!)

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes

The Subscription Box: Super Cute Box

The Cost: £19.00 GBP for International (£16.00 to the UK) (This is about $24.)

The Products: A mix of cute Stationery, Jewelry, Homeware, Accessories, and Crafts.

Ships to: Worldwide!

Good to Know: They accept Paypal!

Check out all of our Super Cute Box reviews, too!

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included:

Now, on to the items!

Stami Studios Notepad - Value $3?

This Sailor Moon notepad is an exclusive launch for Super Cute Box subscribers! Inside, there are 24 blank pages:

(There's also a Stami Studios Kickstarter for the enamel pin version of this notepad art.)

Inflatable Donut Drink Holder - Value $3

Cute! And it matches my full-size version from the Birchbox Limited Edition Walking on Sunshine Box! (Review coming soon!)

Hello Kitty Stickers - Value $2?

You can't go wrong with a Hello Kitty item in a cute box!

Camera Pen - Value $1?

Surprise! This decoy camera is actually a pen! Not the most comfortable pen to use, but a cute keychain!

FOCALLURE Rainbow Highlighter - Retail Value $26

(I found this highlighter listed for much less online, but I'm always skeptical of counterfeit beauty items on Amazon, so I'm just listing the retail value.)

I was pretty pumped to see this in the box! Rainbow/Unicorn highlighters have been all the rage for the past year, and I hadn't actually tried one until this showed up in Super Cute Box!

It's shimmery and decently pigmented, but you could still get a barely there look with just one sweep of your brush. Here it is swatched:

(I wish this was a square compact - it's tough to get to the pink and purple shades!)

Rilakkuma Index Clip - Value $10

(Subscribers will receive one of three versions.)

Adorbs! I love the 3D effect of Rilakkuma, too.

This clip is oversized and can work as a bookmark, planner clip, or the cutest paper clip on your desk!

With your first Super Cute Box, you’ll get a bracelet and the charm of the month. (See my first box review.) Then, with every new box, you’ll get another charm to add to the bracelet.

This little charm's name is Twinkle. According to Super Cute Box, "Twinkle is the happiest star in the galaxy! She shoots about chasing planets around the Sun. She always wins though, they take the same route!"

Verdict: I guessed on some of the values of most of the items in this box, so it probably isn't fair to give a total value. That being said, this isn't usually a high-value box, (this month is an exception), but if you are looking for a kid-friendly kawaii box from overseas, I think this one is just adorable.

I feel like this box is a bad rip off. Since honestly, the hello kitty stickers aren’t even authentic (meaning not branded by the official company sanrio- which if they were they’d be more expensive) and they look very cheap quality. At the most those stickers should be 50 cents, since I have gotten stickers that quality for 25 cents on aliexpress. Then the fake unbranded rilakkuma paper clip also looks around $2-3 quality, probably even a dollar. That small thin notebook also doesn’t look like it costs much either. If I to be honest that notebook looks like something I’d buy from the Dollar Tree. Honestly, I’m very good at finding cheap deals on cheap sites and all of the stuff in the box are yelling CHEAP and FAKE. Judging from the overall contents so far, the makeup is probably a fake. The fake focallure version is only like $3. The donut with the paint falling off probably worth no more than a dollar or two. Lastly that pen, cheap quality too. I feel like this box tried to make an attempt at selling good items, but where too cheap to try. Just like what DOKI DOKI crate tried to pull before.

Also, since I posted my comment below, I’ve continued to have problems. Not only had my automatic payments not stopped, I got charged for a second month despite not having received the first month’s box yet.

After emailing about this asking for a refund for the outstanding boxes, I got no reply, but as luck would have it, a box arrived later that day – I couldn’t tell if it was the first or second because the cards don’t say what month they’re for.

So I emailed again asking for a refund for just the second box, because at this point I was unimpressed by the non-existent communication. I’ve still had no reply so am going to stop the recurring payment, having figured out how to do so in Paypal (previously I’d tried on the box’s own website) – but before I do that, I’m going to contact Paypal themselves about the second payment to see if I can get that refunded in light of the above problems, because once you stop a pre-approved payment Paypal gets rid of the profile, and I’m not sure if it’ll keep the details of previous payments.

TL;DR: I strongly recommend avoiding this subscription.

Has anyone else had trouble with this box? I subscribed on 28th May and as they post boxes at the end of the month I thought I’d probably just missed it. Went through the “my account” info to find out when they’d be posting it, but it said I should’ve been given all that info in my confirmation email. There’s nothing like that in the email, unfortunately. I then emailed them but I’ve heard nothing since. I got concerned at that point and tried to stop the recurring billing, but it’s not clear if I’ve succeeded…
