The box includes cards highlighting the month's selections and the vendors/makers behind each item. The cards are bound together into a booklet by a black velvet ribbon!
This month's theme is Farmer's Market.
And spoiler alert for August:
Now on to the items!
Bloomingville Mint Green Colander - Value $32
This colander measures about 9 inches across. It's a mint green glazed ceramic and my favorite part:
It is dishwasher safe! I'm loving this color, and all my colanders are stainless steel. This is a nice alternative and something pretty enough for serving, too. (I'm picturing strawberries and blueberries!)
Lot 450 Strawberry Wood Wick Candle - Value $12
This candle is made from a blend of soy and palm wax, and it has a burn time of 20 hours.
The strawberry scent reminds me of my favorite lip balms of my youth, and the occasional crackling of the wood wick is lovely!
Illume Go Be Lovely Golden Honeysuckle Lavish Hand Creme - Value $18
First, fabulous packaging! And how cute is this tube?
This is one of those rare beauty items that could work as a hostess gift!
The scent is sweet and floral, and the formula is moisturizing but not greasy. I'm not a fan of all floral scents, and this one is a miss for me, so I'll be passing it along to a friend.
Creative Co-Op Happy Place Enamel Sign - Value $15
This rustic enamel sign measures about 14.5"L x 8"H. I think it is very fitting for the farmhouse theme of the box. (My house isn't farmhouse rustic, though, so this will be gifted.)
Mary Lake-Thompson Flour Sack Towel - Value $11.50
This flour sack towel is 100% cotton and measures 30"x30".
The part of the towel with the print is stiffer than the rest of the towel, but it should get softer with every wash. (It is washing machine safe.)
Verdict: This box has a total retail value of about $88.50. That's pretty good for the $54.95 price for the box (plus $10 shipping to most of the US). Home goods boxes like this one aren't typically high value, low-cost boxes, but I think this one delivers a good assortment of products at a fair price.
I think all the items matched the farmhouse theme, and while not every item was for me, I really liked this box! (Plus I like that they included 5 items this month!)
Looking at this month's box, June's box, and the August theme, it seems Third & Main is going more in the rustic decor trend. This differs a lot from May's box. I'd recommend looking at all Third & Main spoilers before signing up for the upcoming box to make sure the theme is a good match for your decor.
