I just subbed to this box and my box included:
Dove advanced care 48hr. Cool essentials deodorant 0.5oz
Dove go fresh body body wash pear and aloe Vera scent 1.8oz
Tresemme extra hold 4 hair spray 1.5oz
Pantene dream care shampoo 1.7oz.
Pantene dream care conditioner 1.7oz.
2 pk. Eco tools mask remover sponges.

There seems to be a variety in the boxes they send. I am happy with my box contents for 5 dollars. I will be excited to see what next month holds in store.

I cancelled my trendsetter box to get the classic box at the last minute. The press on nails and the gel did not appeal to me. I could not just change my birthday online for some reason. I received a very different box from the one shown. I’m OK with the box I received though.

Pantene shampoo and conditioner 100ml each (yay for size)
Soapbox bodywash
Burt’s Bees lotion
Colgate Optic white travel toothpaste
Ban roll on
Dove dry shampoo
Got2be styling gel

I received the trend setter box today and it was a bottom of the barrel mixture of both the trendsetter & classic boxes, some of it was repeats from the spring boxes. No face wipes or nails but I did get a roll on deodorant. I’ve canceled the subscription.

Michelle

Both my Classic and Trendsetter say pending. Hope they ship soon.

Gosh, they don’t seem exciting after that really awesome special Canada Dry box last time that was stuffed full, I really enjoyed that!!! Oh well, guess we can’t complain over $5. I sure was hoping companies would sponsor more of those boxes just like before, though, I could get used to that! I’d even pay more to get stuffed boxes, I was really pleased.

Hi Siren, I couldn’t agree with you more about companies sonsering this boxes. They might be quite surprised ! Thier boxes lately haven’t looked to appealing to me lately.
I know $5.00 isn’t a lot but I could have appyed this to another sub.
Take Care and Thanks for your input that I couldn’t agree more with 🌻

Just received my Classic box and it is just like the one shown, except it has a sample of Roc 5 in 1 face, neck, and chest cream. The Roc was a surprise and am glad I received it.

I can use the wipes and Roc cream. Both of those are great items, but the Palmers Coconut Oil and moisturizer are repeats and I don’t use oils of any type. The dry shampoo is worthless. I keep giving it away to my Granddaughter, but how many dry shampoos does anyone need? Pantene? Well, I’ve tried it before. It defeats the purpose of a sample box receiving another sample of it. SPF cream I can use. So, I guess it was worth it, but am not thrilled it.

bdubs

I use the dry shampoos (that don’t work for some, some do) as shoe deodorant all summer.

Reply ButtonReply

sr

GENIUS! do you spray them in your shoes before wearing or at the end of the day?

MissBailey

I got the Roc too! I agree about the Pantene. Considering that new brands are always hitting the market, they could have taken the time to choose something different.

I get trendsetter and my box just shipped today, I never get my box this early, so I’m super excited to see what I get

Why is the classic box always so bloody boring. Just because we are over 35 does not mean we don’t want nice things and a makeup item. Every box has shampoo in. I thought the idea was to try new things, not get the same stuff over and over and over and did I say over again?

Reply ButtonReply

Myriam

I agree… always the same…

Reply ButtonReply

MissBailey

I have two accounts with different birth dates so I can get both boxes. What I don’t use, I pass on to my mother.

Reply ButtonReply

Miranda Minter

Right! I feel the same way I think I will cancel mine and restart a different b-date to get the trendsetter box next time.

Reply ButtonReply

Danon

When I received mine, I was like yawn/boring…but I will use literally everything the box and the small pack of makeup removing wipes is so nice for my summer travel. The travel size shampoo, conditioner, and sunscreen will go in my pool bag! The ROC was a good surprise (classic bag).

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

I haven’t yet but I read on here that you can change your birth year to get the trendsetter box, actually i an thinking of getting both for 5 per box every three months!

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Yeah, you know, if the idea with the other beauty boxes is for cosmetics companies to promote their new products (or for unknown companies to make people aware of them), I am not really sure what the purpose of the Walmart beauty box is?.. As a marketing move, I have yet to grasp its concept.

Cathi

Not excited about this box at all but will use some of it or be able to pass it on. Thought I’d go buy those sponges to help get over the disappointment but they alone were almost $10 at Walmart. The trendsetter box is definitely the winner this month.

Reply ButtonReply

jen

I agree not excited by either box, honestly value of each is just over $5.00 if you went to store to buy. I miss the days when they offered full size high value products.

@jen – Thanks for the item number of the sponges!

Cathi

Good to know about the sponges-they were $9.88 at my Walmart. I wonder why such a big price difference between online and in store.

kristy

Arg, so many repeats. I get both the classic and trendsetter, and I’m pretty sure they’ve done the Pantene shampoo and conditioner in the past, same with that dang coconut oil packet. I’ve already got oil problems, wish they would stop sending that. Gotten the dry shampoo, gotten the makeup remover wipes. This is going to be my last of both of them. So done with all of the duplicates.

Reply ButtonReply

jen

These boxes are just not worth it anymore. Constant repeats. I know it’s only $5 but I can buy these at store for around $5 total in travel size. I have received these boxes for two plus years. When I first started the value was amazing! Full size face Loreal and Roc products worth $20 and up. There has been nothing that like in either box for over a year. I keep waiting for something really good, just never comes.

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

That’s not what I got in my classic box. I did not get any Palmers samples at all. Everything else but those 2 things. My box showed up today but still says pending… Guess I got the bottom of the barrel… I said I wouldn’t complain about the contents of a $5 box & I’m not. This is absolutely a very great value. I would liked to have tried the Palmers.

Reply ButtonReply

Lorilei

Not quite the bottom of the barrel.
Mine have not even shipped. Hoping they don’t sell out prior. And hoping still good products if they have to fill in areas.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

Bought it. But did I just sign up for the full subscription or one box? I think it’s the four seasonal boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

Tammy Haley

yeah, you can’t just buy the current box–you have a subscription now…

you can cancel, though– i get the classic & the trendsetter, myself!

i love them, for $5…

Reply ButtonReply

Ruth

how do you get both?

Amy

I think it’s going to be fine. I’m sure I can always use what they send, although I do have enough dry shampoo to set up a small store!

mmaureenn

I def like the Trendsetter more than the Classic, but I got them both. I don’t feel like I wasted any money, though. Happy with the wipes, the mask sponges, and shampoos. Although not my favorite brands, they’ll get used, as will everything in both boxes, except maybe the coconut oil stuff. I’m not cancelling… it’s fun to get the boxes. That said, the Spring boxes were better.

Reply ButtonReply

Sharon in SE TX

This is the first time I wish I was getting the trendsetter box instead of the classic box. I really wanted the mask remover sponges, gel and brush cleanser. However, I can use the Pond’s wipes I’m getting to wipe away my tears. I still love you Walmart!

Reply ButtonReply

AmyM

I mean, I love and use wipes as much as anybody but come on. How many Dove dry shampoos does a gal need in her lifetime? And Pantene? I need to switch my profile to Trendsetter. I really wanted those mask-removing sponges.

Reply ButtonReply

Erinne

I get both boxes each season. Just change your birthdate to make yourself fit in the age bracket. I do love face wipes. Could skip the Pantene but they make good swap items

Reply ButtonReply

Sharon in SE TX

I wanted the mask-removing sponges too!

Reply ButtonReply

anna

I think both boxes look good! Nice to have travel packs of wipes, sunscreen & especially dry shampoo (which is difficult to find in travel size).

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

I already have three Dove dry shampoos from other boxes that I don’t know what to do with (I am not inclined to use dry shampoo). This will be the fourth.

Reply ButtonReply

Kerri

I’ve said this before about dry shampoo….I read on here that a woman uses it to freshen her shoes/sneakers. I’ve never tried it, but I thought that would be a good use for people who don’t use dry shampoo like myself.

This box is ok. Everything will get used.

Nan

I can always use the wipes and sunscreen.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashlea

Meh. Someone just tell me how the brush cleaner is.

Reply ButtonReply

Grimm

I prefer the brush cleaner that came in the Sigma Makeup sample box to this one. But from a professional MUA stand point I am partial to Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo or California Baby shampoo if I can find it in stores.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

I’ve used it also. It’s okay, not the best. Even in combination with the Real Techniques brush cleansing palette it didn’t get all the color out of white brushes for me.
The Ecotools brush cleaning shampoo works better in my experience.

Reply ButtonReply

Amber P

I’ve used it (got a packet of it in their little scrubber sleeve) it’s fine at $8 a bottle, but cheap shampoo works just as well.

Reply ButtonReply

tam

What is going on with these Walmart classic boxes….another miss for me. May be time to cancel.

Reply ButtonReply

Sharyn

The spring box was the best I’ve received from them, and then this!!! Yuck. Are there no drugstore brands launching new products? 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

MzBev

I got the Trendsetter box today. (Same as pictured except different color press-on nails. I’m happier with this one than what looks to be in the Classic, which I was billed for a few days ago. The Classic is all repeats.

Reply ButtonReply

Mattie

The classic box has really lost its value

Reply ButtonReply

Lynn

Update. I received the box today with a sample of Roc cream.

Reply ButtonReply

Lynn

I agree. The classic box is a total waste. Just cancelled the Trendsetter and as soon as I receive this, I will be cancelling the Classic as well. Too bad it has already shipped.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Not too thrilled with what is coming in my Classic box. Not a single item in there that I will use. Bummer.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Ugh, so boring. And why do we need two types of shampoo in the same box? Oh, well. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Joy

Agree. May be time for me to cancel.
