Here's the only bit of information that came in the box. I love the idea of "subscribing" to receive my grocery staples each month!
Viva Paper Towel Roll - Value $1.21 (Buy a 24 pack for $28.99 on Amazon)
I'm the kind of gal who buys one roll of paper towels at a time, which means I always wind up running out right when I need them. So I'm thrilled to have this spare roll to rely on! I also like the idea of nabbing a big (24 roll!) pack of these from Amazon. These are single ply and don't have the bumpy, textured patterns that other towels have. But they're pretty good in a pinch, and stay pretty sturdy when they're wet. They're the kind of thing I could see using to clean smooth surfaces like countertops or mirrors.
Kleenex Go Anywhere Tissues Travel Pack - Value $1.90 (Buy a 10 pack for $18.99 on Amazon)
I love when sample boxes seem to be in tune with the time of year. This tissue travel pack is absolutely perfect for summer road trips, or just driving with the windows down and the allergens flying! I'm keeping it in my glove compartment, but the grosgrain ribbon loop makes it easy to attach to a travel bag or hang behind a seat (within easy reach of sniffling kids, perhaps?). The tissues themselves are simple, but soft. I like that they don't have any fragrance or anything.
Kleenex Moist Facial Cleansing Wipes, 25 count - Value $6.93
I love face wipes. They're great for times when I have to get out the door fast, or when I'm coming home after a long night out and want to hit the hay ASAP! I didn't know Kleenex made wipes, so I was eager to give these a shot. They have a powder-fresh scent to them that's just slightly floral. They left my skin feeling a little on the dry side, but they did a good job of removing my makeup. What I really like about this product is the pretty, clear, lidded box. It looks really sleek sitting on the counter. Most other wipes I have come in a pouch that I tend to shove in a cabinet or drawer. Once I've used all of these wipes, I can hop on Amazon and buy refill packs that fit this box.
Purell Healthy Soap in Fresh Botanicals, 12 fl oz - Value $3.83 (Buy a pack of 6 for $23.oo on Amazon)
I know Purell for their antibacterial hand sanitizers, but this is my first time trying a soap by them. This soap is paraben free and claims to moisturize your skin while it cleans it. The soap has a lavender-ish floral scent that transfers to my hands for a bit. It's pretty pleasant. I can't say my hands felt all that moisturized, but it's always nice to have extra hand soap around.
Germ-X Moisturizing Original Hand Sanitizer, 2.5 fl oz - Value $0.33 (Buy four 30 oz bottles for $15.88 on Amazon)
Speaking of hand sanitizer... This version of Germ-X is supposed to leave your skin feeling moisturized, but I didn't really register any difference between it and other hand sanitizers I've tried. It has a pretty strong, soapy, alcohol-like scent to it, but I do like that it's a handy size that can fit in my bag with ease.
Saline Soothers Nose Wipes, 20 count - Value $2.66 (Buy a pack of 3 for $7.99 on Amazon)
These are an interesting product I hadn't heard of before. They're basically wipes, but they're doused in natural saline, aloe, chamomile, and vitamin E. I know my least favorite feeling in the world is wiping a sore, dry, red nose with a regular tissue, so these moisturizing, soothing wipes sound awesome. Just using one of these fragrance-free wipes on my hands, I can say that they're one of the first "moisturizing" items in this box that actually leaves my skin feeling more nourished!
Scotch Brite Greener Clean Sponge - Value $0.48 (Buy a 6 pack of 4 count packs for $11.59 on Amazon)
I buy these sponges already, so I was glad to get one in this box! It's made of recycled and plant-based fibers AND can be boiled (or thrown in the dishwasher if you have one) to clean it out like new. I love how long these last, and they scrub really well.
Glad Kitchen Pro Large Kitchen Drawstring Bag, 20 gal - Value $0.28 (Buy an 80 count box for $22.56 on Amazon)
I love that these trash bags are so durable—they stretch and accommodate for poky, oddly shaped garbage so well—but I really dislike the Febreeze scent. Maybe it's helpful if you're tossing a lot of smelly items, but for me, the Fresh Clean scent is too intense and is too chemical-ish in my opinion. It smells like the kind of thing you'd use to cover up smells, rather than just a nice fragrance. I know that sounds weird, but it's rubbing my nose in the wrong way!
Persil Pro-Clean Laundry Detergent, 1.8 fl oz - Value $0.24 (Buy a 40 oz bottle for $5.24 on Amazon)
I've heard of this detergent, but I've yet to try it. Especially in the summer, when outdoor adventures leave my clothes sweatier and more stained up than ever, I like having a strong detergent to leave things feeling fresh. This packet is enough for one load, and it's a high-efficiency liquid formula that works with all types of washing machines. The scent is pretty standard clean, fresh laundry fragrance, but it doesn't seem so flowery that it'll pester my nose.
Vanity Fair Everyday 2-ply Napkins, 36 count - Value $0.59 (Buy two 200-count packs for $6.55 on Amazon)
I like having nice paper napkins on hand for the occasional picnic or party. They're plain white with some swirl designs embossed into them, which makes them versatile enough for simple or snazzy occasions. And they're pretty sturdy, too!
Knock Out Heavyweight Eraser Pad - Value $2.00?
It looks like these pads aren't currently available on Amazon, so I took a guess at the value. I like these kinds of eraser pads, though I've not tried this brand before. It seems to work well, and it says it's manufactured in a way that makes it crumble less (which is an annoying tendency for these scrubbers). I like using these to tidy up my sneaker soles when they get muddy or grass stained!
Brite & Clean Ultimate Hard Water Stain Remover, 0.5 oz - Value $1.00?
This is another product that's not currently available on Amazon, so I just took a guess at the value. This packet of powder detergent can be used on all kinds of lime, calcium, and rust stains. You just add a bit of water to the mixture and give it a scrub to start working away at the stains. My stainless steel bathroom fixtures are so happy to have this item!
Nature's Gate Body Wash in Coconut, 0.33 fl oz - Value $0.23 (Buy an 18 fl oz bottle for $13.05 on Amazon)
Most of the products so far have been a little chemical heavy, so it's nice to see a more natural item included as well. This body wash is vegan, paraben-free, non-GMO, gluten-free, sulfate-free, cruelty-free, and it has a pleasant coconutty scent to it. It performs just as well as any other major body wash might, too.
The Laundress Signature Detergent in Classic, 0.5 fl oz - Value $0.30 (Buy a 33.3 fl oz bottle for $19.73 on Amazon)
This laundry detergent will be great for handwashing my delicates. It's good for colors, whites, brights, and more, and the fragrance is lovely. It's kind of a powdery, soapy-fresh aroma that feels clean and luxurious!
Clorox Disinfecting Wipes in Fresh Scent To Go Pack, 9 count - Value $0.60 (Buy 4 containers of 105 wipes each for $27.93 on Amazon)
These are super helpful for taking care of quick messes. This travel pack is going to live in my car, where I feel like I'm always finding myself scrambling for a rogue napkin or tissue to take care of small spills or dusty screens. The scent is a little chemical, but I don't mind it in such small doses.
Biokleen Citrus Essence Laundry Liquid, 30 ml - Value $0.18 (Buy a 300-load bottle for $25.64 on Amazon)
This is one of my favorite items in the box. It's effective and natural, plus it's free of animal testing and ingredients and family run. I love the scent, too!
Verdict: This box had around $23.00 worth of product inside, meaning it's is well worth the $14.99, especially when you figure that you get that value back in the end as a credit! I'm excited to try a lot of new brands and stock up on some handy everyday items that will just be convenient to have around (like those travel tissues and the paper towels).
