Let’s take a look at what’s inside!
iS Clinical Youth Eye Complex, 0.03 oz – Value $5.70
I’m typically pretty puffy under the eyes, so this is a nice treat to test out and see if it works! The packaging says the benefits provide hydration, reduces lines and wrinkles and enhances the appearance of firmness and elasticity. The before and after 12-day comparison in the booklet is quite noticeable, so I’m very excited to continue using this one!
Baxter Vitamin Cleansing Bar, 0.952 oz – Value $2.31
This bar soap is made in the USA and smells like citrus and herbs. I haven’t used it yet but the orange stripe in the middle (besides looking pretty cool!) is packed with hydrating glycerin, which should leave my skin feeling soft and moisturized.
Crabtree & Evelyn Triple Milled Soap, 1.4 oz – Value $2.51
This lavender soap smells so good and left my skin feeling pretty soft after the first use. The vegetable-based formula offers gentle cleansing and contains moisturizing glycerin, which is suited for all skin types. I typically have pretty sensitive skin and this didn’t leave me dry or itchy at all!
TOPPIK Travel Hair Fattener Advanced Thickening Serum, 1 oz – Value $6.95
I have pretty thin hair but have never used a thickening treatment; so this was a nice surprise for something that I’ve always wanted to try! You can apply to either wet or dry hair (I applied to dry) and put a small amount from your roots to your tips. The product doesn’t have a scent, so it’s not competing with the other products you may put in your hair after. I have to say, after the first time, I do think my hair looks a bit more full! This is a full-size sample, so I would say this is a pretty great deal.
Proraso Shaving, Moisturizing and Nourishing Cream, 0.5 oz – Value $0.96
This shaving cream smells great with hints of eucalyptus, which is one of my favorite scents. I’m quite clumsy when it comes to shaving but after using just a little bit of the cream, I didn’t knick myself once! The cream is pretty protective and provided a thick lather – I would recommend this product.
Marvis Whitening Mint Toothpaste, 0.5 oz – Value $2.88
Having white teeth is pretty important to me, so this was another nice addition to the box. The cool mint has a very sharp taste, which I appreciate, and the benefits of this paste include removing plaque and tartar while keeping my smile nice and white!
Calvin Klein Eternity Intense for Men, 0.04 oz – Value $1.76
This cologne smells really great and has hints of wood and smoke, definitely more of a masculine smell that I’m drawn to. I sprayed once and that’s definitely all you need; more than that would be overpowering in my opinion – I highly recommend this!
Calvin Klein Eternity for Men, 0.04 oz – Value $1.60
Like the “Intense” version I reviewed above, this cologne also gives off woodsy scents but also has a bit of floral, which I’m not a fan of. I would choose the “intense” version over the regular.
John Varvatos Artisan Cologne, 0.05 oz – Value $1.38
This cologne smells OK but just isn’t for me. It has more of a clean, lemon vibe, and I am just not drawn to this kind of scent. I’d recommend this cologne to anyone who likes a more fruit-like fragrance.
MONTBLANC Legend Cologne, 0.04 oz – Value $2
This cologne smells really nice and has a very masculine, woodsy smell, which I appreciate. It’s not overbearing, you definitely only need one spritz with this one!
English Laundry Cambridge Knight Cologne, 0.06 oz – Value $1.50
This cologne is quite musky and reminds me of something an older gentleman would wear a little too much of. The smell is slightly overbearing and just not for me!
V76 by Vaughn Daily Balance Facial Moisturizer & Cleanser, 0.14 oz – Total Value $1.60
This is a combo sample packet that includes one packet of facial cleanser (value $0.80) along with the facial moisturizer (value $0.80). The cleanser is an exfoliator (step 1), followed by the moisturizer (step 2), which should be applied after cleansing or shaving. I like that they added both parts in the box and I’m excited to test these out.
Anthony Glycolic Facial Cleanser, 0.1 oz - Value $0.60
This facial cleanser has chamomile and aloe vera to nourish and smooth, and is suggested for people with oily skin like myself! This product is paraben free and has Vitamins A, C and E nourish and protect. I have pretty sensitive skin so I’m hoping this doesn’t make me break out.
Anthony All Purpose Facial Moisturizer, 0.1 oz – Value $1.00
This facial moisturizer is intended for tightening the skin to help erase and prevent wrinkles - Who doesn’t want that?! This product is suggested for all skin types and should be applied after every time you wash your face, or as needed.
MenScience Androceuticals Anti-Aging Formula, 0.06 oz – Value $3.54
This anti-aging lotion has advanced dermatological-grade ingredients to improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and revitalize skin tone to smooth the skin's texture. It’s a little more on the pricier side, so I think it’s great they included this so people can try before making a large investment.
Jack Black Beard Lube Conditioning Shave, 0.17 oz – Value $0.48
This product is described as a pre-shave oil, shave cream and skin conditioner all in one! It smells really clean and has hints of eucalyptus which I’m drawn to - I’m excited to try this one out!
Verdict: The value of this box in total was about $37 – for a $19.99 spend, I think that this is a great box for anyone who is looking to explore new grooming products! Also, if you’re planning to buy something in the Luxury Grooming category from Amazon, it makes this box free!
