LOLA Light Applicator Tampons

It’s really nice that this particular box has the whole variety of tampons based on your flow. For example these light ones are great for if you don’t have a heavy flow in general or at the beginning and/or end of your cycle.

LOLA Regular Applicator Tampons

If you’re like me, this is what you use for your whole cycle. These are your basic, run of the mill, tampon size. Of course, these aren’t your run of the mill tampon because they are 100% organic cotton. You don’t think it’s a big deal, but I actually switched a month or so back to cotton ones and while I don’t notice a difference generally, I feel better knowing I am using something natural.

LOLA Super Applicator Tampons

These “super” tampons are exactly as they sound….super absorbent. If you have a heavy flow, these are for you.

LOLA Super + Applicator Tampons

Alright, now I don’t know how many women out there still have a super, super heavy monthly flow, but I know you are out there. Before I went on birth control, I had this issue, so I know how vital this “super plus” tampon can be, especially on a long day.

Lastly, this helpful little pamphlet gives you all kinds of tips and information that you may or may not already know about using tampons. Super helpful, especially if you are just venturing into this realm.

Verdict: While I have been using organic 100% cotton tampons for a little while now, I just think this subscription box is amazing. The fact that 1) you don’t have to remember to buy tampons when you need them and 2) these are much better for your body because they don’t have any harsh additives is pretty much the best thing to happen since sliced bread...in my opinion. Since this package came at the right time for me, I was able to try these and they did their job great with no difference to be noted. Very well made and they really just gave me the piece of mind that I don’t have anything in my body that couldn’t or shouldn’t really be there. Great box!

Another important thing about these tampons, and any others that are 100% cotton, is that they don’t have any other materials in them. Many conventional tampon brands from the drugstore put cheaper materials blended in with cotton. That is REALLY bad for toxic shock syndrome.

I’ve tried a lot of different “natural” tampons and these, by far, are the best I’ve tried! Comfortable and effective–and, not to be TMI, but since having my daughter and not being on the pill, I do need the super and super+ ones–they work! Tip: It’s cheaper to get 2 boxes at once, so you can order those, then skip the next month (depending on how many you need).
