Macy’s Beauty Box August 2017 FULL SPOILERS!

I was so upset with myself and Macys. I watched for it to come out and signed up July 16th. I showed my friends and a couple signed up as well. Today is 16th of August. I called them because I had not heard anything. They told me I had to sign up by the 15th. I missed it by one day and they would not send me one. I asked them to unsubscribe me then as thought is was petty w all the free ones they were giving out. Come to find out, its too late to cancel. I had to cancel by August 10th. So I signed up in mid July and will get a box sometime mid September. Anyone reading this please be advised on the dates as I had no idea.

Is that a full size Smashbox Cover Shot palette?

I hate this box .. I honestly hate it can’t believe I paid $16 for a box whose items
Sans bag are usually free with any beauty product purchase at Macy bonton saks 5th or even bluemercury .. I mean I have brought a $3 sharpener and received 3 of the 5 items
Free with it including the mascara the purity cleaner and the perfume sample .. I am
So horribly dissapointed by this ridiculous offering come on Macy’s… I mean 😒 seriously COME ON!!!!

I am excited! I love the bag. That’s why I really started on Ipsy! I would love to try the Maracuja oil. The Smashbox shadow might b good. Philosophy is a good brand. Not bad at all. I’ve never done fake lashes, but I might try them. Funny, fake lashes will also be in my BoxyCharm.

Received mine today. I’m pretty happy with it, mostly because I love that Tarte oil. The samples are all very small 🙁

Sadly, the $5 coupon is not good on future beauty boxes. Darn!

Did anyone else have $16.24 taken for this on the 7/31? It was there as a pending transaction and then gone. I got an email saying it would ship the 8th..

I received my box the second day after it shipped. 😃👍🏼💖 and I love everything I received. I’m already buying full size items of the three. I love the oil from Tarte and that brow gel from benefit is my new best friend.
Also loving Purity too. The only thing I didn’t like was the perfume sample smell. Which is ok, I know I won’t like everything but sure found some favorites too. If Macy’s keeps introducing me to excellent products, I will purchase.

I just got my Macy’s box. There was no coupon.

I’m not sure if anyone will see this since it’s a couple weeks old, but they tried charging my card on the 28th even though the site states you’re billed the first or second week. I use a separate card for online purchases to avoid fraud so I hadn’t deposited money to cover subs yet. They emailed saying order cancelled and now customer service says I won’t get August. The most ridiculous thing ever since they tried charging me early. Just be aware that they will charge you early and cancel if you’re not prepared.

I saw this online about a month ago and went ahead and signed up for this ( love the bag!!). Anyway, silly question, is this the first on from Macy’s ???? I can’t find much on this bag except for the August 2017 bag.

I received an email that I’ve been charged $15.63, with tax and it should ship on Aug 7th. I’m not sure if I’ll hold onto this sub yet. I really thought the items would have been a little bigger, than Sephora, with the cost. Doubtful I’ll use the coupon much, unless they can be stacked. I do love their bag WAY better than any I’ve received from Sephora tho.
Only comparing the two since I cancelled Sephora to try this one. Time will tell if I cancel this and go back.

Got an email – mine has shipped!

I just received an email saying they are about to charge to my card and there’s tax on this purchase. so the actual total is over $16 dollars!!!! i know its not a lot more but the other boxes only charge a flat price… this box better be amazing….

Just got the Smashbox deluxe eyeshadow sample at Ulta, free with purchase. Exactly the same for free…..

Andrea Matillano has an unboxing video of this box up (Macy’s sent her one for review). The eyeshadow colors look different than the picture, so I’m wondering if there will be color variations. Also, there appears to be no minimum spending limit on the coupon.

Not thrilled at all. Expected better with MBB. Cancelled but will be getting this box anyway since cancellation needs to be made before 10th 🙄

I’m excited for the MBB 😊 Hopefully they continue to include good brands and items. When you look up any of these full size items on the Macy’s website it tells you the item is included in the August BB, and shows the entire collection for the month. The bag is super cute, and the Eyeshadow colors look different

Wow this is making me consider switching from Sephora Play to this subscription.
I’ve always enjoyed the Sephora Play box but these past two months were disappointing. This bag is adorable (much better than the Sephora bags) and the products are all things I enjoy already and wouldn’t mind getting. I’m giving Sephora one more chance and if they can’t get it right, Macy’s it is!
I wonder if the coupon that comes with the box is redeemable online? I’m a big online shopper and the fact that the Sephora bonus points that come with their subscription can only be redeemed in stores is disappointing to me.

I’m a kind of a regular Macy’s customer (there is not a store near me but I always buy online), I mostly get beauty /skincare/fragance products and I never had a problem with them. The beauty box didn’t wow me but I haven’t tried any of these products before (believe it or not) so I think I’ll give it a try for some months and then we’ll see. I’m currently subscribed to Sephora’s and Beauty fix (I’m a skincare junkie but I enjoy makeup). I’ve been eyeballing Sugarbash but I think I’ll wait until they have a promotion or some kind of discount. I got the new beauty awards box and doesn’t look super amazing but ..again… I love to try skincare products and I’m not familiar with these ones so, I’m happy with what I got 🙂

NOT WORTH 15 DOLLARS

I wish it’ s been better. For 10$ it’s great, but it doesn’t worth 15$ for sure

I tried out birchbox and wasn’t impressed. Was looking for something to replace that sub with and mbb came at the perfect time. I wish it was $10 instead of $15 but can already tell that I’m gonna like this one better.

Do you think Macy’s would accept a return on this? I hate this box 🙁

I almost signed up for this, but my local Macy’s recently closed, and I figured it would be a lost value nearly every month with the $5 coupon. I do order some brands online that I have a hard time finding, but I find more of them at Nordstrom than at Macy’s. This bag has some nice items, but I’m pretty saturated so nothing, for me, is to die for.

I just cancelled, so bummed I’m stuck with this box
