Beach Towel Roundie - Value $15.00?

I love the black and white graphic pattern of this roundie towel. It’s 100% polyester which I find isn’t absorbent but it works well as a picnic blanket or decorative throw on the sofa even if I don’t want to use it to dry off at the pool. It measures 61 inches across and has decorative white fringe.

Lord & Berry Eyeshadow - Value $15.00

Lord & Berry is a new-to-me brand. The shadow went on very smoothly. It is swatched below (with two applications to get deeper pigmentation). This shade of purple is too warm with a red-undertone for my fair skin tone, but I have a friend who will love it.

Lord & Berry Lip Gloss – Value $16.00

The Lord & Berry lip gloss was a pretty coral color with shimmer. It was fairly sheer and didn’t have a lot of staying power, but felt slick with no tackiness.

Knoppers Milk Hazelnut Wafer – Value $1.33 (buy a case of 24 for $31.93)

This was a tasty treat! The wafer cookie was very light and the chocolate had a pronounced hazelnut flavor reminiscent of Nutella. It’s probably a good thing they don’t sell these at my local supermarket because they are addictive.

Room and Body Spray by Sarah’s Sweet Scrubs, 2 oz. - Value $25.00

This spray is made in Hawaii and uses essential oils. It can be used on both your body and also as a room, car or linen spray. We have been using it as a room spray and I love the tropical, fruity scent. I think I will have to buy more of this when the bottle runs out.

Verdict: What a fun box this month! The value was over $72 with my estimations which is more than double the $33.95 cost of the box so I’m very happy with that. I loved the roundie towel, body/room spray and Knopper wafer cookie the most this month. I thought the curation had a nice mix of lifestyle, edibles, and beauty too.

I loved this month! One of my all time favorites! I loved every single item–but I’m glad I got a neutral color eyeshadow. Super excited about the boxed set of Rifle Paper Co. cards next month too! I love love love Rifle Paper Co!!!

Fun review, Jessica–thanks! Just one thing I noted…the bottle of the body/room spray I received is 1 oz, rather than the full size 2oz…so I think has lower RV than $25. 🙂 (There’s a 1 oz one in different scent listed in swaps with $15 RV, though not sure where they got that number…)

Thanks! I couldn’t find a size on my bottle and it looked bigger than 1 oz. to me so I thought it was a 2 oz.
Maybe you’re right and it’s $15…

So in general I’ve really enjoyed this box. However…I just opened the eyeshadow that I received in this month’s box to use, and was shocked to find that there is a FINGERPRINT on the top of it…YUCK!!! Not sure where they got these shadows, but mine has been opened. 🙁 I just sent them a email with a picture…will see what response I get. I really liked the color I received (mine was a bronzy tone) but pretty skeeved out about the fact that someone I don’t know has had their fingers in it…

I have been a subscriber for nearly 2 years and I really liked this months box except for my eyeshadow — it was turquoise, which isn’t really a color that I use. I was surprised that they sent chocolate in the summer heat– mine was a melty mess but after an hour in the fridge it was delicious!

On the plus side, at least it’s correctly “in season”. Some boxes send out of season colors, like torquoise in November would not be so useful. Maybe give it a try, you might actually like it on?

Oddly my round did not have fringe. Bummed. The snack was delicious. Also enjoying the room spray. I received blue eyeshadow and was disappointed until I tried it and love it! As stated in the review, the lip gloss was not long-wearing, but the color was neutral and nice for layering. I am new to subs and trying to see what I like best so I cancelled for now. My BeautyCon box was awesome!
