Does everyone know about “Leon Day”? I have never heard of it and frankly, I am pretty into it! According to this postcard included in the box, Leon Day is celebrated on June 25th which is the halfway point to Christmas. “Leon” is “Noel” spelled backward. I mean, did your head just explode because mine did when I read this card. On the back of the card, you will also find the list of all of the products in this month’s box along with where you can find them.

Christmas Kitchen Towel by Design Imports - Value $2.75

This vintage-inspired 100% cotton dish towel is a cute addition to your holiday decor. I am not someone who has to have every room in my home decorated, but I do like to have some little things like this to have around for added delight.

Holiday “Flip-flop” Ornament by Cape Shore - Value $4.95

Personally, I like classic Christmas items, so the style wasn’t for me. That being said, the quality is very nice and would be a cute addition to your beach-themed Christmas tree.

Hand Poured Soy Candle in Christmas Cookie by Fireside Candles - Value $5?

Lucky me, one of my favorite scents for candles around the holidays just happens to be “Christmas Cookie”. I can’t wait to burn this sweet and warm smelling candle this holiday season! The smell is truly delightful.

Candy Cane Stationery Pen - Value $0.38?

I think everyone has at one point in their life received one of these novelty pens shaped like a candy cane. Of course, that doesn’t ever stop me from using them or having it in my purse during the holidays!

Boxed Christmas Card Set by Fine Impressions - Value $20 (noted on the packaging)

These cards are very pretty, but I am not super religious so I don’t think these would be the right fit for me. However, these cards are very well done and perfect for those of you who do like to drop a holiday line to friends and family during that time of year. Lovely!

Verdict: I love Christmas, so I was very happy to hear about this box and then receive it! I wanted to love everything in the box, but sadly a lot of these weren’t quite my taste. Of course, I am pretty picky when it comes to my holiday decor so it’s understandable that things wouldn’t quite be up to my standards. For $36.90 ($29.95 + $6.95 shipping), I received an estimated $33.08 worth of products. Although some values were guesses, this is above the box cost before shipping. Although, I will say that everything in the box was nice and of good quality. I would try this box again and perhaps order one for my Mom a little closer to the holidays.

Cute enough stuff, but I agree with the majority, it’s too expensive. And nope, I’ve never, ever heard of Leon Day & I’m no youngster. 🙂

I’m SO excited to see this curation! I love Christmas so this is definitely the sub for me. I looked at past boxes and they look well put together every month. Thanks for the coupon code!

I bought this as a gift for my wife and she has been very pleased every month for the past 3 months. Everything has been good quality, arrives on time and brings a smile to my wife’s face. I don’t mind paying the shipping, the boxes we have received are pretty heavy so I understand the charge.

I think this is a beautiful assortment honestly. I would use everything shown…. I think the candy cane pen is a nice touch as a simple “add on” product to the card set. Was there a coupon code for this company that I missed? Would like to try 🙂

I really enjoyed this box this month. The cards were a 25 pack (which I liked) and I believe the ornament print is for a “Christmas in Summer” type theme… hence the flip flops. Overall, I think this is one of my favorites so far.

Laura

Did you receive 25 cards? I received 12 cards and 12 envelopes. Just curious.

Darly

Whoopsie! Yes, you’re correct a 12 pack…..

Michelle

Maybe for $10. this box would be fun but it felt very Dollar Tree to me. I would never pay that price for it.

I don’t sub to this box, but was intrigued. However, the retail values listed in the review are wrong. Looks like they’re using sale prices – if that’s the case then all the beauty items from other boxes should be worth a lot less. This needs to be consistent.

I agree…. I receive this box and the 25 pack of cards and envelopes have a MSRP of $25 on the back of the boxed set.

Kate

I agree. Also I’m not sure what’s so “super religious” about the card. And how many cards are in the box?

Kelly

I thought the same thing about the cards. I didn’t see anything religious about them whatsoever. I don’t send holiday cards but these are quite pretty. The items were cheap. Very cheap and kinda tacky. I mean, a candy cane pen? Really? Get a good deal in them from the leftover Dollar Store? The ornament was ugly and very specific. The candle too is a scent some may not like (me!!!). I’d never subscribe to this but that’s just me.

Ariana

I always use cards with a more religious tone for those who are more religious. We have family who love those.

Ann

The only religious thing about that card is that it is for Christmas, lol!

monah

The inside of the card isn’t religious but the front of the card can seem religious to some. It was the words “faith” and “believe” that made Chelsey feel it was religious.

Carrie

That’s exactly what makes those of us who are agnostic or celebrate on a purely secular level shy away from that card 🙂

Carrie

Fun idea, kinda poor execution. That ornament is just ugly and some of the other items look cheap. The low value doesn’t help. Shame!

I wish I liked this box more, my husband was born on Xmas day and our son was born on June 25.

That value is too low… also I hate paying shipping costs, especially when you pay almost/over $30 already for the box.
