Let’s check out the items! Just a note: some items aren't linked because it was hard to track down a reliable value for them. I have tried to give you the best I could find in terms of value.
Glamfox Fleurissant Lip Glow, 3.3 oz - Value $16
How pretty is this! Yes, that is a real dried flower inside. And yes, it changes color when you put it on. The color is a sheer, glowy pink that is surprisingly glossy. It doesn’t last for very long and it only keeps my lips moisturized for an hour or so. The packaging is beautiful all around and is definitely worth a spot on your vanity.
Holika Holika Pig-Nose - Value $3.50
Holika Holika Pig-Nose 3-step blackhead kit helps to control oil and remove blackheads. Each step lasts about 15-20 minutes. The instructions are in Korean (like most of the other beauty products in this box), so I did a quick search online and found some that were translated. I have included an image with each step starting at the top with step one which is a sheet mask-like strip to help open your pores. This burned a bit as it was sitting. Then step 2, the blackhead removal strip. This one hardens like paper mache, and then you pull it off much like other pore strips. I was disappointed to see that nothing but little hairs were on the strip when I removed it. Step 3, the soothing strip to help close and balance your pores. I wasn't super impressed with this treatment, but I don’t struggle much with blackheads. It would say it would be worth a shot if you are one who likes other pore strips because this one is so much cuter.
Esfolio Peach Hand Cream, 30 g - Value $5.90
I’ve set this little lotion jar on my desk and it has gotten a lot of attention. It looks like it might be a stress ball, but this cute container actually holds some sweet peach-scented hand cream. It actually smells just like Peachy-Os candy. The cream sinks in quickly, but don’t expect it to last long if you have curious co-workers around.
Design Works Ink Card Set - Value $2.17
Based out of Nashville, TN, DESIGNWORKS INK has designed some of the prettiest thank you cards I’ve seen. They are blank inside but have beautiful marbling and gold foil accents outside. The envelopes are also lined with cute patterns. I have a great appreciation for printed goods being a graphic designer, and I feel like I’ll end up wanting to hoard these. I’ll just have to make myself write a letter to share these pretty designs.
Pure Smile Choosy Lip Mask - Value $1.50?
So, I have never tried a lip mask like this. It is a gelatinous sheet that you put on like a facial sheet mask. It feels rubbery and like it doesn’t have much serum on it. I left it on for 15 minutes and was surprised at its holding power. When I peeled it off, somehow my lips felt moisturized and the signs of them being chapped were gone. It helped prep my lips for a good scrub and I would do it again next time I’m in the mood for matte. It also smells like peaches, which ties in with this month’s theme. I estimated the price of this item based on similar items I found.
Pure Smile Face Mask - Value $1.50
This sheet mask comes in the standard format. I received the pearl version which moisturizes and revitalizes skin. It was tingly while I had it on and I was sure my face was going to be red when I removed it. To my surprise, I was not red but my skin looked great! It was smooth, bright, and felt hydrated. I hope more great sheet mask come from Peachy Box. I estimated the value above.
Suatelier Puffy Sticker Packs - Value $2.50?
Here's a puffy panda sticker pack. I don’t know if these pandas are hot dogs or tacos, but they are cute either way. I have a feeling some of these will end up on my thank you cards for my wedding shower. I just guessed at this value, since it was hard to find these exact stickers online.
Dear Laura PA Nail Polishes - Value $16 ($8 each)
The box includes 2 mini polishes from Dear Laura: a peach and light pink shimmer shade. Both shades are sheer and have a shiny finish. They are described as being “for the cutie girls who want to become lovely.” Yes, please! I like the mini bottles of polish because I go through them before they go bad. I swatched these over my nude-pink gel manicure and they both lasted a few days without a topcoat before they started wearing off at the tips. I liked the peach shade better because the formula was smooth and sheer, but even. The pink shade was a little clumpier. Both can be layered to achieve different looks.
Petit Makeup Brush Set - Value $10?
These brushes are so cute and compact. The soft bristles have pink tips and the handles are a matte pink finish. The set has 7 items: 2 eyeshadow brushes, 2 eyeliner brushes, a lip brush, a powder/blush brush, and an eyeshadow sponge. These are going right into my travel makeup bag and I love that they will all fit. I estimated this value based on similar products I've seen, too.
Peachy Box Official Pin - Value $8
This is an extra not listed on the info card. It is a cute little peach enamel pin branded for Peachy Box.
Verdict: I think Peachy Box delivered on both the curation of their monthly theme “Life is Peachy” and their value this month. This was such a cute box of products and everything looked so nice together. The total value was about $70 with free shipping and was double the cost of the box. I think the curation of products that are trendy and hard to get a hold of by themselves increases the value some too. I can't wait to see what Peachy Box does next month!
