This month's theme is "Aloha". Judging by the card, this package screams summer!

Bonus Item: Enamel Pineapple Pin - Value $10.00?

This pin isn't listed on the info card like the other products, so I just guessed at the value. Most enamel pins I've seen at boutiques in town are right around $10.00, so I'd say that's fair. I like the simple, colorful design of this pin. There's something just so summery about pineapple, isn't there? I'm going to pop this on the lapel of my jacket before my next summer BBQ.

Itty Bitty Watermelon Earrings - Listed Value $12.95

These earrings are awesome! I love watermelon, and as folks who read my reviews know, I love minimalist jewelry and style. The simplicity of these gold half moons is right up my alley—if you weren't looking too hard, you might think these were just very modern geometric studs. But the fact that they're delicate watermelon slices makes them so much more playful and fun.

Pineapple Express Necklace - Listed Value $18.00

There's a pineapple pendant to go with my pineapple pin, too! It's so cute and would go great with some more colorful, beaded necklaces if you're into a more bohemian look. I should mention that the metal used with these necklaces doesn't seem like the highest quality stuff in the world, but I love that each piece is light as a feather and super comfortable to wear.

Aloha Necklace - Listed Value $18.00

This necklace is so cute, too! Wow, they are knocking it out of the park with me this month. I love text art and name necklaces (and every other kind of name jewelry, for that matter), so this piece is right up my alley. And of course, I love how delicate a shimmer it provides alongside my summer outfit.

The Verdict: I loved this month's Penny + Grace pack! The box is just $19.99 box (with free shipping), and I got about $59.00 of products when you count the bonus pin. I love the aesthetic of this subscription so much. And I especially enjoy the growing collection of mix-and-match-able pieces I'm developing!

What do you think about Penny + Grace?

I love this sub. I get so excited when it arrives and it arrives packaged so beautifully. The bag with the bonus pin in it and all the individual pouches with the jewelry in them.

I’m actually really impressed with the quality of the metal and the gold plating. After my 1st bag arrived I decided to test the pieces out to see if I should continue subbing.

I wore the earrings and wore the necklaces layered on a hike, to the gym, swimming in my sisters pool, and I wore them to the beach. I got sweat, chlorine, sunblock, bug spray, and saltwater on them and they held up! They still look brand new. They’re shiny and everything. I really put them through the ringer.

I don’t know if everyone’s experience is the same but the delicate pieces all have held up. I haven’t taken off the earrings since I got them.

I can’t wait for next month. So far I’ve lived every price and only “swapped” one because my momloved the Aloha necklace so much I gave it to her 🤗

Yay, Alex! I’m so happy that you’re having so much fun with this subscription! I’m really digging it. A few of my most-worn pieces have gotten a little duller towards the back of the chain, but that’s over months of wearing them. In other words, the quality seems fair for the price, and more importantly, they’re the kinds of pieces I find myself wearing a TON! Thank you so much for sharing all of your helpful insights 🙂

Oh and I am loving all these pins in my subs this summer! I’ve used them to embellish straw hats, purses, baggu bags, caps, the occasional dress etc. I’m officially addicted to subscription boxes and now pins!!

I would really love if they included extenders in their shop. Some that would be made of the same material as the necklaces so they looked more seamless. Right now I am looking for extenders on Amazon but I might wait.

I bought the cheapest extenders I could find on eBay. They came in a set of rose gold and yellow gold from China. They’ve really done the trick. The most important thing is to get them really thin so they match the daintiness of Penny and Grace jewelry. You can buy them from US or Canadian and international vendors too. They’re inexpensive and so useful.

I really enjoyed this month’s pieces.

To get more out if thus subscription I purchased some extenders so I could have some if these pieces at a more comfortable length and so I could layer them how I like.

I have always been drawn to rose gold but don’t have any rose gold pieces so I am using this subscription to explore rose gold. I have found that my love for the rose gold is strong so I’ll probably get some real rose gold pieces later; in the meantime I am having fun playing with these pieces.

The only thing that would take this sub over the top for me would e for the sub to offer spoilers before charges go through AND allow those who like different metals to choose which metal color they would like for each piece. I get that doing so could be really tough for them but that’s my wish for this sub.

Do you like the way your extenders match up with the necklace–I’m picky since my hair is short so the extenders would be visible…
Thanks!

Jumping in as I was just recommending extenders to someone else. The trick is to find the thinnest extenders. I got mine for very cheap from an eBay vendor in China. You can get them on eBay from a US vendor or wherever you like. Just look for the thinnest width. I also have very short hair and all my necklaces are visible but the thin extenders are awesome!
