POPSUGAR Flash Sale – Save 50% Off Limited Edition Summer Box!

Anyone received this yet or know when it’s shipping? I haven’t heard a peep from Popsugar

I got this when this post went up (I love that bag, but I couldn’t justify $100 for a straw bag; I’m a lot better at rationalization when it’s half price!) That was June 27. Here it is, July 5, and there’s zero movement on this. Is this normal? If anyone also ordered this at the same time – when this sale went up – has your box shipped yet? TIA. 🙂

I accidentally forgot to update my old address when purchasing this box, and the Popsugar customer service people are saying that even though it hasn’t shipped yet, they are unable to fix my address and there’s nothing they can do about it! Has anyone else run into a problem like this?

Super annoyed that I paid full price.

Despite the complaints, and the ‘I’d never buy’, it’s sold out.

Ha Ha I bit….. I figured I could use the bag in my car as a storage bin or line it and use as a fancy trash bin. Sunscreen will be used, caramels devoured by hubby, and polarized sunnies are the bomb!! Will be passing off the coasters, lippie and shimmer spray to friends.

I think the steep discounts for this box are because it didn’t sell well.

Like even at 50% off, I look at this box and the only thing I would really use is the sunscreen spray and likely eat the caramels (which I don’t *need* to eat anyways).

I actually honestly don’t think I’d use the rest of the stuff even if I got it for free.

After CDFA with the box being expensive and then sharply discounted . . . my love affair with PopSugar LE boxes ended. Now this . . . why will anyone ever by a LE at full price when you can wait two weeks and get it 50% off?

Its sad for me that not even at 50% I want to buy it….

Hopefully they will get their act together soon.

Lesson learned, wait for a better deal next time. It’s a slap in the face to have spent 100$ just a little over a month ago for the same thing. Popsugar I am throughly annoyed! $50 is alot of money

Honestly when i first saw this review, the box just wasn’t for me with the exception of the sunglasses (WHICH I LOVE AND SWAPPED FOR 2 of!!!) But after reading the review again the sunscreen is definitely needed and the caramels will not be wasted in this house…

Which leads me to typing this after buying my first ever summer LE box! I’m a fall girl but wow, for this price, I will use everything but the bag. And with my mom’s birthday on the 22nd MAYBE that will do the trick….

My first and LAST LE box bought without benefit of a spoiler…. expensive lesson learned!! … will stick to fall/winter boxes going forward AFTER spoiler release… 😋

I am honestly shocked. I have never seen a PSMH LE Trix go on sale (except for the CFDA boxes and those were, uh, … special), much less 50% off!!

I’d buy one if there were a single thing in it I wanted.

Darn – I just purchased this about 2 weeks ago and just received it yesterday.

I got one of these in the MSA Anniversary sale. I also got a June box. Then I realized that these sunglasses would pair well with the aloha trucker hat, toss in a summer tee and that’s a great gift for a guy. So I ordered a box in this sale. Hopefully I’ll be able to swap whatever I don’t use or gift.

I gotta say, I too am a little annoyed. Actually more than “a little” because 1) 50% is a HUGE discount (although I’m happy for those who got a bargain!) and 2) offered so close to when it launched. I seriously need to learn my lesson from this. Oh well…

The sunglasses are awesome. My husband is trying to “steal”mine. They are so lightweight they fit perfect on a man’s head as well. Would suggest these especially if you are sensitive to sunlight. The blue lenses are perfect.

I was planning on buying the glasses and cooling spray soon. I’m glad I held off on getting them since this comes out cheaper, plus I get all the other items!

From the photos, I really like the bag and the sunglasses. if both those work for me, I’m willing to spring for it, even though it’s a little out of my budget. I have a really narrow face though and I’m a littler afraid the sunglasses will slip right off 🙁

Liz, do the sunglasses seem to fit on the large side or fairly average? Thanks for any info!

I’m still not tempted. I don’t know how they can put together such awesome fall/holiday LE boxes then have such underwhelming resort/summer LE boxes. Either way I would be kind of annoyed if I had paid full price for this and feel bad for those that did. Bummer.

quick question re: the bag: i was thinking of using it to hold a light blanket or two by the sofa… but feom the looks of the pic, would bits of the straw or sisal rub off on the blanket?

it made me think of that awful burlap bag that a cutting board came in one year and that thing was shedding bits everywhere!

Bought it!! I didn’t want to pay full price for this box and the Rachel Zoe, so I’m glad I got them on sale. Cancelled beautyfix this month after the spoilers.
