Almond Orange Face Scrub, sample - Value $4.05?
This facial scrub reminded me of oatmeal as I applied it to my face. It was somewhat gritty but not abrasive, and overall, it got my skin clean. I put about a ½ teaspoon of the powder and mixed with water till it made a thick paste. This intends to hydrate, exfoliate, cleanse, and repair my skin. This facial scrub can be used daily or as a facial mask.
Luscious Lip Gloss-Hollywood, full-size! - Value $11.99
I have so many lip glosses but they all seem to be a bit different in texture and shade. This lip gloss was not sticky and gave me a nice shine, some shimmer and a hint of pink color to my lips. This is my favorite item in the box.
Serene Pillow Mist, 30ml - Value $12.00
I love pillow mists and anything that will calm me to sleep, so needless to say I was excited to see this in this month’s box. I sprayed it on my pillow and my sheets. Some of the calming ingredients are citrus notes, rose, ylang ylang, and vanilla. The scent is lovely, lightweight, not overly strong, and has a calming effect that was soothing as I laid down. This will be used often.
Enclosed is a coupon for 20% off your next order at Momoko Therapeutics.
Herbal Perfume-Sandalwood Rose, 1 ml? - Value $5.00?
It’s nice to see perfume in this month box. I don’t see perfume that often in subscription boxes, so it’s a nice change. This roll-on perfume smells of musk oil, a woody masculine scent, and a hint of vanilla. I don’t usually wear a woody scent but this grew on me. The perfume consists of organic rose petals, good vibes (not sure what that is), pure essential oils, herbal infused non-GMO spiced rum, and organic vanilla extract. The size is perfect for me to throw into my makeup bag.
Verdict: My July Satva Box has a value of $33.04, well over the cost of the box. The assortment this month was a welcome departure from the standard beauty items for my face and body. It’s nice to switch it up with other beauty items such as the pillow mist and roll-on perfume, which I enjoyed receiving. This subscription box has a well-rounded assortment of beauty products in full and deluxe sizes and each month there’s one item that stands out from the rest.
