The gold compass necklace from BOS. I don’t think I’ve gone a day without wearing it since I got it. I love it’s simplicity. I wear it alone and layer with other necklaces.

If there were “meet up” groups in your city where MSA readers could get together, socialize, and trade, would people participate?

What’s the best skincare product, makeup item, hair product you’ve received from a box and why do you like it?

The few times I’ve worn it, people have loved the straw hat with black small pompoms from Rachel Zoe. I swapped for it and I’m really happy that I did!

People have also complimented me when I’m wearing the winky lux lipstick from the popsugar box (december?) And a light pink tarte lipstick I got as a freebie from boxycharm for being a new subscriber.

Not Winter, my nail polishes. A lot of those compliments are just because I usually wear ten colors at a time, but they are almost always bright colors, shimmer, hologram — except not glitter often because it’s so hard to get off! If I only wore one color a week, it would take me two years to get thru all my colors, so no. About 95% of those are from Julep, and they know how to make bright colors and flashy finishes.

A question I’d love to see answers to: What box have you recently discovered that you love, and what do you love about it?

And: What item/box made you step outside your comfort zone and it turned out you really liked it?

My Dylanex necklace from Rachel Zoe and all my Ivory Clasp purses so far. Those items are just a level up from what I would purchase on my own. My skin in general, thanks to all the skin care samples, masks, and products I use from subs, but I don’t think I can narrow that down to just one. And my boyfriend always complimented me when I used my Three Sisters Apothecary Body Butter in Santa Rosa Plum Nutmeg. He loved the scent and the soft skin.

Most anything I wear from Rocksbox receives compliments. That makes returning the items much harder!

The silver Adornmonde Ivo Earrings from the Spring 2017 Rachel Zoe Box of Style. They are circles with a dropped stud, very simple, and I don’t wear them often, but when I do someone always compliments me.

The Alexis Bittar ring from BOS always garners many compliments when I wear it. I have such tiny fingers that it is rare to find a ring that fits, I love this one!

The Avenue A by adidas summmer box shoes . A purfume from scent bird dark rum . My skin had a lot of texture from adult cystic acne and since ive been using a certain skin resurfacer, i have gotten compliments on my skin ,which is extremely rare.

Items currently in my rotation a bit lately that get compliments: the gold earrings from BOS spring 2017, illesteva Leonard sunglasses in the half/half grey with blue mirrored lenses (outside my usual color choices), everyone who sees the milly bag in the pink haute mess from FFF comments on it (my current travel makeup bag).

Deux Lux Croc Embossed Vegan Clutch from Happy Rebel Spring 2016 box. I received mine in the Mystery box that was done around Christmas time. I love it and it’s versatile enough that I can use it regularly with different outfits. I always get comments on it and people question where they can find one. It’s not like anything else I own so it makes me smile to have something unique that no one else seems familiar with either 🙂

I also tend to notice people look at my Kendra Scott Rose Gold bracelet but nobody has actually commented. Silent appreciation so far lol

5th Avenue Style — I have a few dramatic necklaces from Karine Sultane that get comments, even from strangers on the street last time I was in NY

Wellpeople Mascara from a Birchbox and Target beauty box that I purchase now. Everyone asks me what Mascara I use it doesn’t flake or bother my eyes comes off easy and makes my lashes look full. I like it better than Too Faced better than sex mascara I can’t find anything any better.

Funny enough the item I’ve received more compliments when wearing is the Jack & Lucy Biocostal wide brim hat from PSMH! I do not use it now during summer of course but I used it during Fall, Winter and maybe even when it was still cold and rainy here in spring and everyone would always comment on my awesome outfit or random strangers would ask me for advise when buy clothes at the stores (not kidding) lol! I love hats (not all the time) but I think a good hat or accesory can change your whole look. I get compliments on other items and on lipstick shades (love Ipsy!) but the hat is the winner for me. 🙂
