They stayed consistent with the oh so sweet gold swiss dot packaging that we saw in April. I love the style of the box, it feels as though you are opening a present for you and your little one!

The info card was super helpful to help me navigate each product in the box. Since I am using the items for my son, I like to make sure I am reading all information on how to use and ingredients beforehand. The card also came with a coupon for $10 off when you spend $50 or more from the baby department valid until September 30th, bonus!
Triple Paste - Diaper Rash Cream, 2 oz. - Value $7.49
As any parent knows, finding the right diaper rash cream for your little one can be a challenge. This brand is hypoallergenic, sulfate-free, and contains zinc oxide which helps repel water (a must when treating and preventing diaper rash). The cream is very thick which I found a bit difficult to use because it never seemed to create the coverage I wanted, rather it just stayed on my finger. I ended up using way more than I wanted to in order to cover any redness. While this particular cream didn’t work for me, a lot of my Mommy friends swear by it so it will be a great gift to share with them!
Mustela Hydra Bebe Body Lotion, 1.69oz. - Value $2.17
I have always been interested in this brand, but have never made the plunge to purchase anything. I am completely sold on this body lotion but more so for me instead of my son! Lotion after bath has become a huge part of his bedtime routine, but I thought this lotion had too strong of a perfume-like scent to use on him every night. The lotion was extremely hydrating, went on easily, and didn’t leave that greasy feeling behind. I would absolutely use this on him more if the scent was a little less strong, but I am absolutely going to be using this for myself!
Philips – Avent Freeflow Pacifier, 1 ct. - Value $2
My son has a pacifier that he is already attached to so I was really excited to see how much he loved this brand! The six holes to create extra airflow to your baby's cheeks is an awesome bonus on top of the drop-shaped nipple that helps with their developing palate. It came with a protective cover to keep germs away that makes this perfect to just toss in your diaper bag and go!
Cetaphil – Baby Wash & Shampoo, 1.7 oz. - Value $1.09
Bath time can sometimes be a rush in our house depending on how sleepy my son is at night so I was happy to see that this was both body wash and shampoo in one. I loved the smell and was pleased to see how well it lathered (a good lather is key) and how easily it rinsed off in his hair. I was really excited to see that this wash is hypoallergenic which is ideal for babies sensitive skin. I thought I was sold on the wash we have been using, but I think this has quickly become my new fave!
Baby Dove – Rich Moisture Tip to Toe Wash, 1.8 oz. - Value $0.83
I was surprised to see this product since it was also featured in April. The wash had that super fresh Dove smell, and I was happy to see how well it lathered. I have found Dove products to not rinse as easily, but I was happy to see that this didn’t leave that feeling on my son’s skin. This is something I would absolutely use for him in the winter months when his skin is extra dry.
Seventh Generation – Free & Clear Baby Wipes, 30 ct - Value $1.40
Finding the perfect wipes can be a challenge. We have found that, no matter what brand we use, we always go with ones for sensitive skin. I was excited to see this brand in the box because the wipes are made with mainly plant-derived ingredients. Overall, I was really pleased with these and love the easy travel size that is perfect to keep in your diaper bag! The wipes had a lot of moisture that made clean up easy and I felt comfortable using it to clean messes from my son’s hands and face. I wish they were a little bigger in size though because I went through a lot of the wipes for those extra messy diaper changes!
Method – Free & Clear Laundry Detergent, 8 fl oz. - Value $1.65
Having a very active baby boy, stains are my enemy! I need a detergent that will get his clothes clean, keep them looking like new, but I also don’t want to use anything too hard. The Method brand is great because it is fragrance and dye free which helps protect baby’s sensitive skin. I had a few shirts that were covered in food stains, and I didn’t think this detergent was up to the job of removing them (you will find this to be much more of a liquid than the thicker detergents you might be used to). I was wrong though! Each shirt came out of the wash looking brand new again. I thought I was sold on a different brand of detergent, but I think I will be switching over to Method from now on!
The Honest Co Lavender Hand Sanitizer Spray, 2oz. - Value $2.99
Always excited to try anything from The Honest Co! I’ve never used a hand sanitizer spray but boy oh boy did I love it! The spray bottle allows you to not overuse and have that ‘I poured out too much’ feeling on your hands. The size is great to have around the house for guests visiting your new baby to use, or for you to just toss in your diaper bag and go. Unlike most hand sanitizers, this doesn’t have that cleaning product smell, it leaves your hands feeling almost moisturized and smelling like lavender!
Verdict: Trying new products for a baby can always be a little tricky because you don’t want to irritate their skin in any way. The great thing about the Target Baby Box this month is that pretty much all of the products were hypoallergenic, dye free, or made with plant based ingredients which means a lot to me as a mom. I calculated the value to be just around $20 and considering I am now completely sold on so many of the items featured this month, I would say this box is worth the cost! Not to mention how much fun we had trying these products with my son - happy baby, happy Mommy!
