I’ve done Cora and Lola. Honestly half the tampons went into the trash bc their applicators were crap. I’m going to try Athena now.

Just FYI,

Cora free trial costs $3 for shipping.

Flex free trial costs $4 for shipping.

Laura

Ellebox coupon code tryorganic does not work. I just tried it

Guys, y’all gotta try Dott Box. They include SO MANY products for the money & their essentials packet has one of those 1 time use heating pads along with painkillers. Their lifestyle items are centered around a specific theme each month, which I kinda love, & the items are so well curated.

Brie

Hey ladies, anyone recommend a box for strictly pad users? I like the idea of an affordable box that also sends some fun extras.

Alexandria

Yeah, go with Delightful Cycle. You can customize your kit thru a quick questionnaire. Don’t want Tampons? No problem. Let them know what kind brand, and more importantly what size pads you’re after, and you’ll never be caught without again.

Darla P

Bonjour Jolie, you can get any brand and size out there, they offer like 50 different options and you can get 25 pads, or like 20 pads and 5 liners, or tampons and pads, like whatever you need.

Plus they give back alot, and have great boxes!

Dot boxx has an essentials box for 19.99 and you can choose on your account if you want pads or tampons or both.

Well, I HATED Lola’s tampons.

I love the look of Cora and would totally get it, but holy expensive batman!! I don’t like the idea of a monthly charge when you only get a box every 3 months. It feels like a sneaky way of charging 3x what it appears. Maybe that’s just me.

I bought L. at Target a couple weeks ago. And Flex is super interesting. I like the idea of trying it out before signing up fully as well as the temporary menstrual cup idea (because I don’t want to pay $30+ for a cup only to hate it).

Megan

Thank you Anna for the list. I’m still disappointed that my dot boxx didn’t make the cut. They send out period essentials and goodies! And great customer service! They get to know their customers and always answer back within a day.

Oooo… I’ll have to investigate! Thanks for commenting Megan – this is super helpful 🙂

I love bonjour also! Always happy with this sub. I get it for my 16 yr daughter.

Mandy

I’ve tried Lola, Kali and Cora and definitely like Lola and Cora the best out of the three. I would say that Lola and Cora’s tampons are very similar. I didn’t like Kali’s tampons. They are more like Tampax for comparison and expand lengthwise whereas Cora and Lola expand widthwise.

I haven’t been 100% thrilled with Cora or Lola lately since their applicatiors don’t always release and that can be VERY FRUSTRATING! Thanks for doing this review Anna! I’m definitely going to give a few of these different companies a shot and will put my Lola sub on hold for a few months and see if I find something better.

One plus about Cora is that they have the cutest little case for your tampons or you can carry a single one in a cardboard case and give it away. It has a promo code unique to your account on them so if they sign up you’ll get credit for it. Pretty cool!

Flex caught my curiosity so much I went ahead and signed up.

tpop

I have been using these for about 3 months now, and they’re really good. You don’t feel it at all, and I cannot use tampons; my body just protests. And they do what they say, regarding no leaks with activity! I did the trial then signed up for the large box once every 3 months. I will say there is a tiny bit of a learning curve using them, but it’s not bad.

Jane

Love Bonjour Jolie! They always have the BEST snacks!

Reply ButtonReply

...

I think of Bonjour Jolie as a snack box that happens to offer tampons on the side. There are actual snack boxes I haven’t liked half as well.

Reply ButtonReply

Darla P

I do love their foods too!

Nina

Do any of the chemical free tampon subs offer tampons without applicators? I tried Lola and liked it, except the extra waste of only offering products with applicators.

Reply ButtonReply

Darla P

Bonjour Jolie offers NatraCare Organic Tampons and Seventh Generation Organic Tampons without applicators and with them, they alos have those OB tampons that do not come with applicators.

Reply ButtonReply

Mandy

Lola does and they are $1 cheaper per box. 😊
