Creative Co-Op Hanging Olive Basket - Listed Value $10.00
This little basket is a cute way to add some summertime pop to a space. I have a little landing outside my door that I've been considering decorating with a flower box, but I feel like that's a bigger gardening commitment than I can handle. But if I can loop this basket on a hook on my door, or just next to it, I could drop some flowers or a simple plant inside—I think I could handle that!
Charming Pine Faux Greenery - Listed Value $12.00
If my thumb doesn't prove to be green enough, of course, I can just sub in these bouquets of fake plants. They're pretty realistic, especially from afar, though it feels a little chintzy to me to have fake plants out (especially in the summer). These were supplied by a small company as kind of an exclusive item, which is neat.
Creative Co-Op Stoneware Honey Pot and Honeycomb - Value $10.13
This is such a cute item! I'm not one to ever take the honey out of the bear-shaped bottle, but I'll have to start, if simply because the presentation of this golden jar is going to be so charming. I love the itty bitty bee on top of the little lid!
Heritage Prairie Farm Honey, 12 oz - Value $9.99
I like that they supply honey to go with the jar, too! It's raw honey, which is supposed to be very good for you. It tasted rich and sweet and perfect for tea, little sandwiches, yogurt, and more.
Creative Co-Op Enameled Bread Box - Value $32.11
This is an awful lot to pay for a simple bread box, but it is really cute. It's also quite loud—it's metal with enamel over it, so it tends to clang when you put the lid on. I've not used a bread box before, but I like the simple rustic design of this item. I could see using it as a decorative piece, or even as a vase for fresh wildflowers.
Verdict: This box has a total retail value of around $74.00. That's pretty fair, given the $54.95 price for the box (plus $10 shipping to most of the US). The pieces felt pretty high quality, too—even the fake plants were really nice for what they were. This box seems to follow a more rustic, or at least, traditional vibe, but I found places for each of these pieces in my slightly more modern, simple decor.
