Disney Plush Tsum Tsum Goofy - Value $6.95
Goofy measures about 3.5 inches long and is super soft. I like his sly little wink! Unfortunately, Walt Life sent me this exact same Tsum Tsum in May. I’m pretty disappointed with all the Tsum Tsum variations to receive the same thing.
Minnie Purse – Value $5.95
This Minnie Mouse bag has pink rope handles and a satin type finish. It holds a decent amount and my daughter has had fun playing with it.
Minnie and Daisy Lidded Case - Value $5.00?
This plastic case has a snap top lid and could keep jewelry, small figurines or craft supplies. The top is a large sticker with Minnie and Daisy and a sweet saying about friends making life bloom. The latch is easy to open and close for little hands.
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Memo Pads - Value $3.00?
This two-pack of pads comes with lined paper and reminds me of the pads I used to use in school to write down my homework assignments. The covers are two different designs featuring Mickey and some silver sparkle detailing.
Mickey Reusable Grocery Tote – Value $3.98 (buy two for $7.95)
This vintage looking Mickey Tote is the kind you can buy at the supermarket to use for grocery shopping and spare a plastic bag. This will come in handy for our Sunday trip to the farmer’s market.
Mickey Mouse Water Bottle - Value $6.00?
This plastic water bottle features a cute Mickey Mouse waving hello, the word hello and a big M with Mickey’s white glove. It has a screw top lid. The bottle is made in China and according to the tag isn’t leak-proof and is hand wash only. Not sure what good a child’s water bottle is to me if it isn’t even leak-proof.
Disney Postcard - Value $1.50?
Walt Life included a post card from Alladin. It could also be framed as a small art print if you wish. I like Abu’s startled expression in this scene.
Disney MagicBandits – Value $8.99?
Another disappointing repeat…Walt Life sent MagicBandits in my May box, and they were this same trio of patterns. These little Mickey heads remind me of Jibbitz shoe charms for Crocs. This three-pack has rainbow, an American flag and polka dot patterns on Mickey head silhouettes. They are meant to be used at the Disney Parks with your MagicBand wristband.
The Walt Life boxes come with a pull-out insert and a small cardboard coin. You can collect the coins and if you spell Walt Life you win a trip to Disney World. Other variations will win other prizes.
Puzzle – bonus
Walt Life included a small Walt Life promotional cardboard puzzle with Toothy on one side and Squeaky on the reverse. They sent this puzzle in my May box too. I’m not sure why they’d keep sending the same puzzle…
UPDATE: Walt Life let us know this box is actually their Welcome Box.
Verdict: This is my second Walt Life box and I am very disappointed. I feel the curation is quite careless to send two repeats MagicBandits and Tsum Tsum) from my May box and none of the items felt high quality. I think many of these items could be found at WalMart or other inexpensive retailers. This month’s box also didn’t come with an information booklet, though my May box did. I think to be competitive Walt Life will need to work on better curation, looking for unique items that are hard to find and have higher price tags and be much more cognizant of avoiding sending customers repeat items. The value this month was over $41 with my estimations which is well below the cost of the box ($48 a month with free shipping).
