The theme for the June WWE Slam Crate is Stables!
From Loot Crate:
An amplifier of talent, an impetus for chaos, unpredictable and exciting—here's to the STABLES, the packs of Superstars who band together and become forces of nature. And if you're not down with that, we've got two words for ya!
The magazine listed out all the items in the box.
The Q&A features SAnitY from NXT. I love it when Slam Crate includes NXT wrestlers and these short interviews are always fun.
The poster this month features The Shield! I was hoping to see them in this box!
WWE nWo Championship Pin - Value $10?
It’s fitting that the nWo Championship pin would be included in the “Stables” box. As always, the pin is a nice weight and the two clasps keep it in place! I think the pins might be my favorite part of the Slam Crates—I’ve built an awesome collection so far! I estimated the value based on similar pins I've seen.
Exclusive WWE Mini Encyclopedia Vol. 2 - Value 5?
This is volume 2 of the mini-encyclopedias. Last week, the encyclopedia profiled “Master of the Mic” and the second edition highlights some of the influential WWE Stables. They mix it up a bit by focusing on some older and newer Stables. Like last week, this reminds me a bit of a program you might pick up from a live event and definitely isn’t one of the better items for me. However, I do like that they’re starting a series and I’m curious to see what they focus on for future issues. I just took a stab at guessing the value of this exclusive booklet.
The booklet featured a nice variety of stables and closed with The Shield. 😍
WWE Bray Wyatt Odd Socks - Value $15?
Bray Wyatt is a weird and fun character in the WWE. I found him to be pretty annoying at first, but The Wyatt Family grew on me over time. The allover print features Bray Wyatt holding a lantern. The tops of the socks come together to form the catchphrase “Follow the Buzzards”.
The bottom of the socks have the same image of Bray Wyatt and say "The Wyatt Family" underneath. I enjoy the socks, but it’s nice to get a different wearable!
The New Day Foam Finger - Value $15?
Kofi Kingston is one of my favorite wrestlers, and The New Day is always so much fun! This foam finger came in a vacuum sealed bag. It took about 10 minutes to fully regain its form after I removed it from the bag.
The pointer finger is replaced with a unicorn horn! This item is super cute and a fun prop to have on hand when you’re cheering on the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history! Just guessing at the value of this item, too.
Exclusive Sasha Banks Authentic T-Shirt - Value $25?
This month's t-shirt features Sasha Banks!
Sasha Banks is one of The Four Horsewomen, and I really like the simple chain design with the “Legit Boss” charm. I like that this is a pretty minimal design, but still flashy like Sasha Banks.
The back of the shirt also features her gold shades. I think this design is really cute and will be one of the WWE shirts I wear more often.
As always, the WWE Authentic logo is visible at the bottom of your shirt.
Exclusive WWE Slam Stars Triple H Collectible Figure - Value 20?
Our second Loot Crate Exclusive Slam Star is Triple H! D-Generation X was a formidable stable, so Triple H is a good choice for this month! The first Slam Stars figure we received was Stone Cold Steve Austin. This second figure comes with another corner of the ring so we can begin to assemble it!
This line is designed by Brian Baity of The Creation Crib, and just like last week, the details on this figure are awesome!
The figure is poseable and the sledgehammer can be removed from his hand.
The ring is easy to assemble and this week includes a small circular piece that you can use to connect the corners of the rings together.
Our ring is halfway there! We know that the next box includes The Undertaker, and I can’t wait to see the reveal of the fourth wrestler!
Verdict: I estimate that the shirt, pin, and figure cover more than the cost of the box, so the other items felt like a fun bonus for me. This month, I really loved the shirt, pin, and figure. The encyclopedia isn’t really doing it for me, but I thought the foam finger was really cute and the socks were a fun addition. The mini encyclopedia is the lowest value item for me, but I appreciate a collectible series. It just doesn’t feel on par with some of the other items. It feels a little like a filler item, but I really enjoyed everything else, so this box is a win for me! Plus, a poster of The Shield! 💕
