Here we have the "Summer Holiday" YumeTwins Booklet!
Inside you'll find a rundown of what's in your June box!
You're automatically entered to win one of these kawaii prizes!
There's a feature on the wild Kawaii Monster Cafe created by the founder of Japanese label 6%DokiDoki, Sebastian Masuda. Looks so fun!!
Kawaii Adhesive Bandages - Value $3.02
I AM OBSESSED WITH THESE. Somehow, all of the bandages I have are character-based or fun, and these take the cake. I love the pastel colors and the cute animals all over them! Looks like these had a variation, and I think I got the best one!
Perfect for summer scrapes, these 15 bandages feature sayings like "Happy Holiday Time" and "We Can Be Relaxed"! Gahhhh, too kawaii!
Disney Minnie Mouse Potemochi Plush - Value $15.00?
I'm not a huge Disney fan, but this ultra-soft squatty Minnie Mouse is really adorable. She is soooo squishy and round. I'm excited to pass this onto my good friend's baby because it's perfect for a little one, even though I appreciate it as an adult as well. I know there are a lot of Disney fans out there who'd love this. Looks like there were four other variations including Mickey, Pooh, Alien, or Donald Duck. Wish I would have gotten Pooh (although the Donald Duck kind of looks like the Sanrio character, Tuxedo Sam)!! Not sure about a value here, but she is a good size and so soft and nice, I wanna guesstimate at least $15, if not more.
Look at her cute lil tail!
Minnie is really well made and has teensy little arms and legs that make me go "Squeeeee"!
My Melody Dental Travel Kit - Value $8.00?
If there is one thing I deem utterly important, it's dental hygiene. I've always loved going to the Dentist (shout out to my childhood Dentist, Dr Tarkany who made it a pleasant experience) and this Sanrio kit is great motivation to keep on brushin'.
Everything is contained in a black sparkly-topped cup that you can use to gargle mouthwash with!
The toothbrush collapses when stowed, but flip it around and you can use as a full size.
Everything is so tidy here, perfect for travel!
Sailor Moon Playing Cards - Value $5.99?
Sailor Moon is a total badass, and these playing cards feature her whole crew. These would be great for a road trip or a rainy day at the beach this summer. I took a stab at the value based on other Sailor Moons cards found online.
They come neatly stacked in this plastic tray.
An array of characters grace the cards.
Re-Ment Sanrio x Japanese Goods Blind Box - Value $6.41
The last item this month is a blind box item! It's weird that I haven't received more blind box items in the several Japanese boxes I've reviewed lately. If you're not familiar, these have been really popular for years, and you purchase a sealed box, not knowing which variation of toy you'll find inside.
This theme seems to be a mashup of Sanrio and traditional Japanese items.
I got excited seeing Gudetama, an MSA office favorite!
But alas, no Gudetama to behold. There are so many tiny items in this box that all came separately so you can assemble yourself. Plus a bonus candy.
Here are my three items, assembled. A Purin (and his lady freind?) in some soup, a bowl with spoon, and a teensy little Hello Kitty cow-like item. I'm not sure what she is. Anyone know?
Verdict: I totaled the estimated value of this month's YumeTwins box to be around $38, which is well over the $29.99 price tag. All of the items were great quality, brought a smile to my face, and were seasonally appropriate. Even though they were the cheapest item, the bandages were my favorite part of the box!
