This month's collection of snacks is themed around Independence Day in the U.S.A., as well as summer barbecues and get-togethers all over the world.

Farmer's Pantry Cornbread Crisps in Bite Size, 2 oz. - Value $1.69 (buy an 8-pack for $13.49 on Amazon)

I am going to be dreaming about these crackers from this point on. Some backstory: I love cornbread. It's the kind of food that I save until the very end of the meal to eat, like it's a tasty dessert. Opening this bag of crackers, I assumed that these would be pretty average crackers, maybe with a corny flavor to them. Boy was I wrong. These legitimately taste just like sweet and savory cornbread! And what's more, they have a great crunchy, thicker consistency to them that makes each Scrabble-square-sized snack as satisfying to eat as it is delicious.

Raw and Unfiltered 100% Pure Honey Packet from Nature Nate's, 0.33 fl oz. - Value $0.43 (Buy 30 for $12.95 on Amazon)

I have a little bit of honey every day, either with tea and lemon in the morning or in a smoothie or with a snack dinner of cheese and fruit. In short, it's a big part of my day. I don't think I'm the kind of person who would need a to-go honey, but maybe on a road trip or a camping outing, it could be a handy thing to have. The honey is great (raw honey is especially good quality), and it's a snap to squeeze out of this little cardboard packet. This honey is made by American bees, but honey is an international ingredient that could find its way into a whole slew of unique dishes!

Life's Nuts Sprouted Buffalo Almonds and Ranch Cashews, 1.4 oz. - Value $3.73 (Buy three 3 oz packages for $23.98 on Amazon)

So, the info booklet says these were going to be "Pizzalmonds", but I got buffalo and ranch flavored nuts. Not a huge deal, since these are really flavorful and do mimic the indulgent, spicy flavors of buffalo wings and ranch dressing. I've been slowly getting back into swapping nuts in for less healthy snacks, so I love how filling and tasty these nuts are! The package is resealable, too, so they'd be handy on the go.

Adjika by Magiya Vostoka - Listed Value $1.95

According to the info booklet, adjika is a spice as well as a sauce/paste. I could see sprinkling this on veggies, or going by the info card's recipe and make the thick, peppery, oniony sauce and serve it as a condiment. The spice itself has a nice heat to it. If I had to describe it, it's a bit like taco seasoning mixed with the aromatic flavors of Middle-Eastern food.

Penotti Duo Hazelnut and Vanilla Spread, 1.05 oz. - Listed Value $1.05

This product hails from the Netherlands, but it reminds me of the dippy cookie kits I'd get in my very American lunchbox in elementary school. This hazelnut and vanilla combo is way more sophisticated than my ol' Dunkaroos, though! It's super delicious—the cream is sort of a fudgy frosting that's fun to swirl together. The hazelnut flavor is deliciously nutty with a pop of chocolate. And the breadsticks are crisp and just barely sweet, letting the flavored spreads do the heavy lifting.

Jacquet French Crepe in Strawberry, 1.1 oz. - Value $0.66 (Buy a pack of 6 for $3.95 on Yummy Bazaar)

I was a little worried that a pre-wrapped crepe would taste kind of weird, like many convenience store versions of foods can. But this was such a tasty, unique treat! The crepe itself had a tender, slightly chewy texture, and the filling was sweet and flavorful without tasting like some kind of low-quality plastic-wrapped treat.

Jacquet French Crepe in Chocolate, 1.1 oz. - Value $0.66 (Buy a pack of 6 for $3.95 on Yummy Bazaar)

This one was my favorite of the two, because, duh, it's chocolate! The chocolate was creamy, like a frosting. If I'm going to nosh on something sweet, this crepe feels like a far more fun, playful, unexpected treat than a regular snack aisle treat.

Bonus Item: Jagabee Lightly Salted Potato Crisps, 1.4 oz. - Value $2.75 (Buy a pack of 8 for $21.99 on Amazon)

These "fries" are a bonus item that hearkens to the summer season here in the states. They're a bit more corn puff (fluffy, almost styrofoam-y on the inside) than they are crispy (like a cracker might be), but they're awfully fun. And yes, they sure are salty. I feel like I'd rather be eating legitimate French fries, but sitting at my desk nibbling on these snacks isn't bad, either!

Verdict: This Yummy Bazaar World Sampler Kit was really enjoyable for me. It captured so many flavors I love, including chocolate, honey, and shockingly enough, cornbread! The box is only about $10.00 to order (with free shipping to the continental U.S.), and I got about $13.00 worth of goodies inside. I'm a fan of this adventurous box. If you have kids, I'd imagine it'd be fun to sprinkle these unexpected snacks into their lunch boxes!
