Adidas: Avenue A Subscription Box – Fall 2017 Spoiler Picture Update #2!

I was iffy when I saw the bra and now I wish I would’ve listened to my gut and opted out of this box.

1) the bra is so high cut it almost feels restrictive.

2) the pants are ok but sort of a pain to get on/off with the unnecessary ankle zippers. I’m also petite so they’re almost too long for me and there’s some bunching up behind my knees

3) I’m not sold on the shoes. Maybe they’re comfy to run or walk in but they have an old ladyish look to them. A far cry from the neutral and more urban shoes they’ve been featuring so maybe that was why they did it

4) not understanding the sunglasses at all. I also received the tackiest looking white pair. If anyone has black and loves the white rimmed look and would want to trade hit me up, otherwise these will likely be given away.

5) the tank top is the only piece that I think I actually like but since the sides are low cut you really need a bra that somewhat matches and the colors are pretty unique so we’ll see

My first box and I love it, don’t know why there are so many haters – would have loved the summer box too!!!

I would love to sell or swap the shoes in 8.5.

I would also love to swap sunglasses- I have the Black MT Floral Blue- and would love the vapour grey.

I was waiting to be pleasantly surprised but this box is EVEN WORSE than the summer box. The shoes are hideous, the sport’s bra is stupid, the sunglasses are small enough to be for a child, the leggings (don’t get me started) and the tank is ridiculous. The whole thing gave me a migraine, literally. So upset that I have now wasted $300 on 2 boxes that I will toss.

I got these sunglasses in my box. Anyone want to trade??

I just wish mine would ship… according to Adidas’ site it should arrive today but when I log into FedEx there is nothing.

Received my box today and wow. So I didn’t like the summer box, until it arrived then I loved every piece and the outfit made complete sense. Was hoping for the same thing here, but let’s review:
Dark purple & fuschia shoes
Navy pants
Purple and black top
Turquoise, yellow and lt blue bra
Grass green sunglasses
Wow. Looks like Adidas had some unsellable old inventory to clean out. There’s not one piece here (including the shoes) that I would’ve paid $15 on a sale rack. Being honest I wouldn’t pay $15 total for all the pieces together. The shoes look like Reebok rejects. I feel like we’ve been totally scammed here. We were sold the idea of curated items. These are random items that were probably on their way to TJ Maxx.

I should be receiving my box today and while I’m happy to be receiving to some great athletic wear, I can’t help but feel disappointed that it just seems there wasn’t much thought put into this box. The wide variety of sunglasses people are showing they got and just the miss-matched color combos of the rest of the items- its like its just a bunch of leftovers thrown in a box.

I’m pausing my subscription after this box and if they release exciting spoilers – then I may resubscribe. They definitely know these last 2 boxes haven’t been up to par with the previous ones, so they’ve been keeping quiet about them. I really want this subscription to be a good one – but I just hate having the feeling they are being shady. They haven’t been as forthcoming with the spoilers since the Rita Ora box.

I received my box last night and LOVED everything! I was a little underwhelmed by the pictures initially but the purple is SO pretty! I received the vapour grey/ shiny sunglasses which have a clear rose gold frame and they are so adorable!!!!

Avenue A – you won my heart again this quarter!

Aw man. This was my very first box and I was so excited to receive it in the mail, but after opening it, the rest of it was underwhelming. I tried everything on, and well, I like how these items are solid colors! The tights are actually not too bad (Size SM), the sportsbra fits way better than I thought it would look (Size SM), and the shoes could be used while I’m at the gym (Size 7), but the tank doesn’t fit well for me (XS) and these aren’t really my top favorite items that would belong in my wardrobe and I can do without.

Since this is my first box, I wasn’t sure what I would expect and was hoping for new workout shoes on a white/black/grey scale. This box was a little more colorful than my normal attire, so I think that’s good for a change!

I got the turquoise sunglasses (which I definitely won’t be using) – so if any of you ladies want to buy or swap… actually any of these items! Please let me know, and let me know if you have anything in the same size from previous seasons!! I’m still going to wait it out and see what the teaser is for the next subscription box. Totally hoping it’s something Trefoil (like how the girls listed above)!

Nice rebound from the last box. I’m not regretting canceling, but I would have been excited to receive this one.

I have the glasses in black mt floral blue. I’d like to swap for the gray/pink/purple if interested. -They were my least favorite item in the sub. I agree that the tank is too narrow across the chest. I love the color- love the feel- wish that it sat higher to cover my chest better. Love the tights! Super attractive with the sheer netting angled at the back of the knee! I, too, wish there was a jacket or hoodie! I was really hoping for that- and was holding off buying one, as I was sure they’d include that in this sub. The sports bra-is miserable to take on and off and comes up incredibly high-even looks kinda strange when wearing. But- it feels good on. The shoes have boost- greatest product out right now- BUT- I really don’t like the color- I was hoping for the gray/black/white- that everyone else didn’t want. I thought that I would wear them- I don’t love them at all. I need another pair of workout shoes- BUT these look and feel like an outlet shoe. I would love to sell them or swap for something- mine are 8.5. This is my first Avenue A box. My family agrees that it’s a great value. I’m excited to get the next Avenue A sub!! Please keep me in mind if interested in swapping or buying or selling a past shoe to me!

Still waiting for my box….. Can’t wait to see which sunglasses I get and if everything works for me!

I’m so disappointed with this box. I like the idea of having color, but at least make sure they go together! Blue leggings, purple tank top, teal bra and purple sneakers? WTF? My sunglasses are pink iridescent and look like they’re $5. I will legitimately never wear them, which is disappointing considering they were a higher ticket item.

After Hannah Bronfman’s box, it all went downhill. Feels like a massive waste of money so this will be my last one.

Anyone interested in swapping sunglasses? Mine are the sprung brown shiny gold (link to pic below) .. looking for pretty much any other color combo. Shoes aren’t what I would have picked for color, but love the adidas stripes and they are very light/comfortable. Wish the sports bra wasn’t such a high neck, but like the color, back straps, and built in bra pads that don’t fall out in the wash. I’ll use the tank too, but definitely doesn’t work with the included sports bra. Looks crazy odd together. Overall, though, I’ll get use from this box.

I really love this box! The box makes a nice outfit for me, I love how the colors work together! The dark purple/navy tights, muted jewel blue bra, and plum tone tank look amazing together, not to mention the shoe! I read somewhere the bra and tank doesn’t match, to my eyes they look very nicely cool together. My sunglasses is blue mirror.

I can’t make exchanges on the website for some reason! Anyone else having the same problem?

I was rather disappointed with this box. I thought for sure I would love it based on the curators. To me, it is a strange color combination. I feel like they put left over items in the box. I do like the shoes and the sunglasses. The bra and tights are too big and the tank top looks pretty awful, on me. Plus, this is a fall box. I sort of expected something with sleeves.

I loved the shoes and the leggings, but the strapy tank, halter bra and sunglasses just didn’t work well with my body and face haha so sad! It’s my first box and was hoping for a fall jacket :/

If anyone wants to swap anything, they are all size M and the glasses are blue frames.

Unpopular opinion, I guess, but I love this box. I wore the sports bra tonight, and it’s awesome. I don’t have huge boobs, but I think it’s plenty supportive, and I love that I can wear it alone without feeling like I’m too naked.

I like the shoes, and I actually got a really great pair of sunglasses for me. I’m blonde and they are clearish w pinky metallic lenses. This doesn’t feel so fall I thought we would receive a jacket of some sort, but it’s SO hot here in southern Louisiana I couldn’t wear it now anyway! I think I received a weird combo though. It’s the sort of brighter teal/yellow strap accent sports bra and Navy blue pants, which to me doesn’t match at all! And the aubergine color tank which matches my shoes. The tank and the navy pants match, but not at all w that bra! I don’t understand what they are thinking. I don’t get it! I will wait for the next box, but I’ve really seen you guys receive some waaay better boxes than this. I feel letdown. I really needed shoes, and will keep it for now, but if the next one is like this, I’ll cancel

Would anyone like to swap sunglasses? I got these teal ones and they are just too shiny for me to wear! I was hoping for something a little more subdued.

And did anyone else get the Supernova Long Tights instead of the Supernova 7/8 Tights? My card has the 7/8 Tight on it, but the actual tights I got were labeled as the SN Long Tight. The 7/8 tights don’t seem to have zippers on the bottom and I would have preferred that…

I only like the shoes out of everything. If any of you want the rest of my box, I’m happy to part with it (size M).

So I was disappointed yesterday that this box didn’t reflect “soccer style,” bot now that I’ve gotten over it and actually received my box, I’ve gotta say it’s won me over.

The tank is insanely flattering on me, and like the shoes is a lovely deep purple. I dig it. The leggings are great and the sunglasses, though outside of my style comfort zone, seem to have high-quality lenses. (Hopefully they stay on my nose when I run!)

The only item I am uncertain about is the sports bra, but it just may not be my style. I’ll still get use out of it though.

I may not have been amped about it out of the gate, but I will be continuing by subscription.
