Adidas: Avenue A Subscription Box – Fall 2017 Spoiler Picture Update!

Just FYI in case anyone is wondering. i was curious as to if Adidas would sell me a box ( i totally want the shoes) if enough got returned (which seems to be happening based on reviews/feedback i’ve seen). They said the window was closed and fall was done. I figured this was the case but I thought I would try anyway because I also feel that if they are getting a lot of returns they may want to recoup some of that by offering up returns for sale … No dice.. so just letting anyone else know who might have been curious about this (I could be the only one : ) )

I would like to swap for shoes but I don’t know how is the sizing? Adidas sizes are all over the place. Any advises here?

Thank goodness for the pictures! They make me feel so much better about this box. The “purple” seems to be more of an eggplant on both the shoes and the tank, and the blue pants look super nice and almost black, at least in that pic. Thank you Bailey!

I got the same everything except for my glasses are different my glasses are ugly those I wear the ones I got I will not

I still have not gotten my shipping notice. I’m excited for this box! Has everyone gotten their shipping notice? I paid on the 3rd like everyone else…..not sure if I should be worried or not. My account shows tomorrow for my delivery date but it doesn’t seem that they put tracking/shipping info with your account information anywhere, unless I missed it?

Maybe not everyone will get the same… like last month when there were two different colour combinations that got sent out.

I’m psyched for this box. These shoes look amazing, and the clothes are items I’ll use all the time, regardless of season. I can’t wait!

Seriously, everyone on the shoes?! For the past few months it’s been “No more grey shoes!” Now we finally have some color and a high-value, well-reviewed shoes and everyone is acting like the shoes killed their grandma or something. Saying these shoes are hideous is obviously a stretch. They’re normal running shoes!

This feels like a spring/summer both to me. Why isn’t there a clear theme this time around (unless I missed it)? Usually everything at least matches. Like others, I was ready for a color shoe – it’s one of the reasons, I skipped the last few boxes – but given a colored shoe, I was expecting greens/blues/yellows, etc… fall colors. No long sleeve shirt/jacket? It wouldn’t have to be thick or anything, as this still is a fall box and not winter, but I’d expect something other than a strappy bra, tank top and sunglasses!

With that said, I do love the color choices, then again, I’m a pink and purple type of girl. I like the colors of the sports bra.. just not for this box.

This is the first time I can say I’m glad I didn’t resubscribe. Which is a shame. So far (other than the hit/miss with Rita’s box, as it seemed more personal as far as the items chosen, and not for everybody) the Adidas boxes have been consistent with it all going together, forming the theme. This just feels like a thrown together box of things they could find.

LOVE the shoes! I have high hopes for getting my box today. Also, I’m super jealous of the shoe picture because Bailey obviously doesn’t have huge size 10 feet like me 😂 Smaller sized shoes always look so much cuter!

Good job to Adidas for following our comments from the Summer box. Lots of suggestions last time about a ‘smaller’ item to make it 5 and having more color.

Sooo, pink and purple shoes (gag), then u throw in a blue and green bra, and then blue pants???? Can we not expect a cohesive outfit with these boxes? I agree, I was ready for a colored shoe – but pink and purple is something I would look for in a shoe for my 6 year old daughter. P.s….a strappy tank and NO jacket for fall? I don’t get it….

Those shoes are kinda cute. Still feeling meh about that sports bra though. Can’t wait to see the rest of the box.

Listen..you know that saying, “Don’t knock it til you try it.”? That’s a great saying! When we got the summer box I thought I hated the shoes. Never in a million years would I have EVER picked out a pair like them. Now, they are probably my favorite shoes I’ve ever owned! I used to hate white shoes, not now. They are so gorgeous and clean looking and the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever tried on. So, from now on, I’m not going to be disappointed until after I try it on and wear it a couple of times!

I am so excited to get some shoes with color!!! I have too many black and grey shoes from previous boxes. Can’t wait for them to arrive.

Quick review– I like the shoes a lot, but I don’t live them (which makes them perfect for work, I’m a nurse). The only thing I don’t love about the tights is the ankle zipper, but literally everything else is great. Color is an incredible dark blue and the mesh is a great accent- not too much. I love that they tie at the waist, too. There’s also a nice little pocket in the back. The tank is so soft. So soft. Really roomy, too. Even though the sports bra doesn’t have much support, it fits me well. They sized me up to an XL (I’m a 36D/DD) and it provides great coverage. The high neck is actually a plus for me. I don’t love that I have to fiddle with the straps in the back to get them to lay flat, though. The sunnies are large framed with a mirrored lense. They’re light weight and comfortable. They scream snowboarder to me. They’re a fun look, but WAY outside of my comfort zone. They honestly feel like an overstock that they’re sending to clear out. BUT, it was nice to get 5 pieces.

Though the colors were fall colors and the shoes are definitely better for fall/winter, the box felt summery. I do wish they’d sent a jacket. I’m super happy with the fit and very comfortable wearing everything except maybe the sun glasses. Overall a good sub!

I loved the spring box. That’s why I signed up for this sub. This is my first box. Does anyone trade anything from the new box with something from past boxes? These just aren’t my colors. I loved everything about the spring box and was wondering if someone would be willing to do any kind of trade. Loved the spring shoes and the bag!!!

I don’t know how the colors are going to work.. a lot of purples.. hopefully shoes are cuter in person.. kinda bummed. Was hoping for a box with more. I hate sun glasses…
