Brigadeiro Bakery Brigadeiros, 6 count - Value $14.00
These snacks are like slightly softer truffles that are super sweet and decadent. These SoHo-made Brazilian candies contain cookie-dough-consistency filling that's been rolled in sprinkles of all sorts. While they look like chocolates, only the center two brigadeiros were chocolatey in flavor (though their centers really tasted more like caramel). The others actually tasted like a milder version of the gooey middle of a lemon square!
Bissinger's Strawberry Mango Gummy Pandas, 3 oz - Value $8.99?
I couldn't find this specific flavor online, but I linked to another flavor to give an idea of value. Gummies really aren't my favorite, but I was impressed by the summery, almost punch-like flavor of these bite-sized bears. These are a great pick if you're having a health-conscious snack attack, as they're gluten and dairy-free and don't contain high-fructose corn syrup nor trans fats!
NutWhats in Almond, 6 oz - Value $6.00?
Individual packages of NutWhats like this one aren't yet available for sale online, so I had to take a guess at the value. This package is filled with the almond version of NutWhats, which are sort of like a crumblier, easier to bite, milder version of brittle. Where brittle is usually intensely sweet, I found the sweetness of these snacks to be countered by a healthy dose of buttery goodness. The nuts are tender to bite into, which makes this more of a treat to munch on, rather than crunch into. It's definitely still sugary and dessert-like, but less intensely so than I expected.
Cookie Chips, 5 oz - Value $3.69
That brings us to my favorite item in this box, which is this bag of super thin, crispy "snacking cookies". These have all the brown-sugary, chocolate-studded flavor of a real chocolate chip cookie, but in a two-bite munch. 7 of these cookies are just 140 calories, which is less than some full-size chocolate chip cookies have in one! They contain butter without rBGH, pure cane sugar, are GMO-free, and feature cage-free eggs. They're perfect for getting in my occasional chocolate chip cookie fix!
Verdict: For $18 (and free Prime shipping), I received about $33.00 of products! They were all super tasty and expanded my usual sweet-snack menu of bakery section cookies or checkout lane candy bars. Two of the snacks even came in resealable zip packages, so they can live in my cupboard for a few days until I need 'em again. The only real weird thing that I noticed was that many of these products weren't actually available on Amazon at the time of writing this post. It seems odd that I couldn't go back and buy more of the treats I loved from this sample box, but maybe they'll appear soon!
