Brigadeiro Bakery Brigadeiros, 6 count - Value $14.00

These snacks are like slightly softer truffles that are super sweet and decadent. These SoHo-made Brazilian candies contain cookie-dough-consistency filling that's been rolled in sprinkles of all sorts. While they look like chocolates, only the center two brigadeiros were chocolatey in flavor (though their centers really tasted more like caramel). The others actually tasted like a milder version of the gooey middle of a lemon square!

Bissinger's Strawberry Mango Gummy Pandas, 3 oz - Value $8.99?

I couldn't find this specific flavor online, but I linked to another flavor to give an idea of value. Gummies really aren't my favorite, but I was impressed by the summery, almost punch-like flavor of these bite-sized bears. These are a great pick if you're having a health-conscious snack attack, as they're gluten and dairy-free and don't contain high-fructose corn syrup nor trans fats!

NutWhats in Almond, 6 oz - Value $6.00?

Individual packages of NutWhats like this one aren't yet available for sale online, so I had to take a guess at the value. This package is filled with the almond version of NutWhats, which are sort of like a crumblier, easier to bite, milder version of brittle. Where brittle is usually intensely sweet, I found the sweetness of these snacks to be countered by a healthy dose of buttery goodness. The nuts are tender to bite into, which makes this more of a treat to munch on, rather than crunch into. It's definitely still sugary and dessert-like, but less intensely so than I expected.

Cookie Chips, 5 oz - Value $3.69

That brings us to my favorite item in this box, which is this bag of super thin, crispy "snacking cookies". These have all the brown-sugary, chocolate-studded flavor of a real chocolate chip cookie, but in a two-bite munch. 7 of these cookies are just 140 calories, which is less than some full-size chocolate chip cookies have in one! They contain butter without rBGH, pure cane sugar, are GMO-free, and feature cage-free eggs. They're perfect for getting in my occasional chocolate chip cookie fix!

Verdict: For $18 (and free Prime shipping), I received about $33.00 of products! They were all super tasty and expanded my usual sweet-snack menu of bakery section cookies or checkout lane candy bars. Two of the snacks even came in resealable zip packages, so they can live in my cupboard for a few days until I need 'em again. The only real weird thing that I noticed was that many of these products weren't actually available on Amazon at the time of writing this post. It seems odd that I couldn't go back and buy more of the treats I loved from this sample box, but maybe they'll appear soon!

I got 3/4 items that were pictured here (instead of the nutwhats I got this cinnamon bun-flavored gourmet popcorn which was amazingggg). Not a fan of the Brigadeiros… on the side it said it needed to be refrigerated so that was a bit concerning. The gummies were very tasty but unfortunately arrived melted into one solid mass because it’s been so hot out. Amazon gave me a partial refund for that which I appreciated. I might try again when it’s cooler.

Why do you have to buy this dash button?

We loved the NutWhats brittle.
It has the crunch of and tasted just like the middle of Almond Roca, to me. So scrummy!

The gummies pandas are tasty, not overly sweet, and make me happy.

Neither of us cared for the Brigadeiro Bakery Brigadeiros; especially for what they retail for. We found them to have a weird consistency and lacked much flavour. We did have to refrigerate ours, because they had begun to melt during shipping.

We haven’t opened the cookies yet, but with all of cookie chips that we’ve tried already (and cookies in general!) we already know that we’re going to love them.

Knowing that they choose from among four different boxes each month, I’m tempted to press the button once a week, but I think that once a month is more sensible for us.

I got this exact same box. I ate the cookies in one sitting. 😳

My first box, ( arriving mid winter), was a mess. I live in FL in the winter and everything had melted in their wrappings into a mess. There was also a bag of cookies that was reduced to crumbs. I’m very reluctant to get another box.

Amazon’s happiness guarantee extends to these boxes as well. From the Surprise Sweets Q&A page…

Q) What if my item arrives damaged, or I just don’t like the sweets?
A) We want this to be an easy and fun way for you to indulge in new sweets, so we also want to make it easy to get a refund if you are not satisfied. Simply go to your Prime Surprise Sweets order in your order history and click “Return or replace items” so we can start quickly processing your refund.

I’ve been waiting all summer for “mid-August” when they will start shipping chocolate again.. is it mid-August yet? When oh when can I finally press my dash button for a sweet supply of chocolatey goodness?

Looking at this review makes me sad because my dash button for this refuses to sync, even when I try different wifi routers. And it’s a me problem, because amazon sent me a replacement and I still can’t make it work. I just want one sweets surprise box

I had this issue also, but then resolved it by installing a newer version of the Amazon app on my phone.

This sweets box is the reason I finally joined Amazon Prime. 😀 I’ve now gotten 5 boxes and find it to be a pretty good value. I usually love one item, like two and dislike one. I give some items to family members but some I hoard to myself. (Shhhh.) My favorite item in all 5 boxes so far has been the nutwhats (above). So, so good! I wish they sold individual packs online but it’s bulk only. I gave up on Orange Glad (due to price increases) and Treatsie (worst service ever in my experience with over 40 sub services) so this Amazon box fills the void nicely and the shipping is so much better, obviously.

This was my worst box to date but I got another one today and I love it!!! Much better then this one where I only liked 2 items.

They (Amazon) also have the seven pack variety gummies, about $27.00 but does include the strawberry mango flavor!
