August 6. Anyone received shipping information? I don’t. I have a strong feeling that they are going to fold out and disappear like the other sub recently (the one that sent high end customer samples)

I haven’t received any information from them. I agree about them disappearing, I think I’ve been dinged for $24. I cancelled them, even if they do stick around, who wants to do business with a company that can’t manage their supply chain?

That email they sent said they would all be shipped by Saturday (yesterday). Of course, that hasn’t happened yet. It does make you wonder what they are up to.

Finally received a reply after emailing them 10 days ago. For everyone else who is still waiting on their July box, this is what they said:

Thanks for reaching out to Beauty Box 5! We sincerely apologize in the delay in getting back to you. No excuses – July boxes are extremely late and we are aware we have some angry and disappointed customers right now (trust us, we are too). All July boxes will be shipped no later than Saturday (tomorrow, 8/4) – with accompanying shipment confirmation emails – and August boxes are expected to ship on the 18th. We love to help make you beautiful and we thank you for your patience and understanding!

Well, it’s the 5th, and I don’t have any email with a shipping notification, so they lied again. And their silence on Facebook this whole time is simply despicable. They could have had us on their side if they had simply bothered to be open and communicative.

Sorry not sorry I’m salty I’m being shown something for the month of July in August.Ive always stuck up for this company but come on you said they would be shipped out over a week ago and that the problems were resolved .If they were resolved shouldn’t I have received my box.And attention beauty box 5 but people get pissed when they are ignored over and over.I bet you have no problem charging people on the first of August even though they haven’t received Julys box.ps companies that excell have a backup plan always

You’re right! I keep returning to the comments on here and their Facebook page because as a subscription addict this is the first time I’ve seen something of this magnitude. I’m especially disappointed because I grew to really enjoy getting BB5 but their reputation is toilet bowl level right now. I encourage anyone who likes to receive products they pay for to cancel their subscription unless they want to still be receiving July Spoilers in October with not a box in sight.

I have a bi-quarter subscription,which I still haven’t figured out why I get charged every three months instead of every four! Isn’t that what a quarter is 1/4 ? I just got chargerd in July so I’m good for a little while because there’s nothing I can do till then.And maybe they might do something fantastic to make up for it ,not holding my breath though

I get so many boxes that I really wasn’t paying attention. Their last tweet on 7/21 said that boxes would be shipping in a few days, I have not received a shipping notice, nor any direct communication and have been charged for August. What is going on with them?

At this point, I’m wondering if my July box will ever show up. I’ll admit that I don’t know the inner workings of the beauty box industry, but don’t other boxes like Ipsy, BoxyCharm, and Sephora Play have these boxes planned out months in advance? I have an annual membership that’s up in November and I’m considering cancelling…I like the products, just not the run-a-round 🙁

I cancelled them. How many times do you have to email and message a company to get a response?
They have been shipping boxes later and later every month. I doubt I will ever see July’s at all. They are more trouble than they are worth.

I and many others on their Facebook Page are very angry about this lack of communication on their part and many of us cancelled. I can understand delays but what I will not tolerate is outright disrespect and lack of customer service. BB5 was contacted several times in the past few weeks and ignored many emails; why should I be wondering if I am getting what I paid for or not? A simple reply would have sufficed but instead they made a broadcast Facebook post and then stopped replying after promising tracking would be sent out which of course NEVER and still has not happened (8/2). That’s shameful.

I’ve been w them almost from when they started and decided it was time to part ways! They’ve yet to reply to any communications except one lengthy reply in Messemger! Made sure and cancelled before date they would charge for August, too, as they’re one that charges before the end of the month for the next w me! I’m so sorry but I’ve been disappointed for this whole year really except February lip box and I’m having to let other subs go as I’m making a fresh start over in my.life!

I find it to be a forgivable offense this time, although, BB5 is always the last of my boxes to arrive every month. But for $12, I feel this box is a good bargain – there’s usually 2-3 usable items.

That’s only a one time delay hopefully. It’s never happened to me before. It’s just because a product shipped late. Otherwise it would of been on time. No biggie
