This is a review of the Bootaybag "Mix it Up", $12 a month, box. Just FYI, I signed up for the size large package. (I usually wear a size 10 in jeans and pants or a large in letter sizes. I've got a curvier figure on my bottom half, too, so large it is!)

Blue Cheeky Lace Undies
I love the sapphire hue of these undies! When I shop for my undies myself, I usually fall back on standard black or gray, so I like that this subscription has made me welcome some bright, beautiful colors into my underwear drawer! These panties are pretty delicate—the front is a layer of fine, stretchy lace backed by a layer of stretchy mesh, and the back is the same, but minus the mesh. They're not the kind of undies to wear when I'm running around in a pair of jeans, but when I'm out to a nice dinner in a fancy dress? Perfecto.
The silhouette is just what I like, too—the fact that the lace on the cheeky back doesn't have any trim means that the lace is free to lay comfortably against my booty, rather than pinching in. (I don't mind that I've got some squish on me, but I do like a smooth silhouette and zero VPL!) The relatively slender elastic waistband does cinch in a little more than I'd like, though, so I might not wear these with a bodycon dress.
Tropical Print Spandex Thong
This thong is so cute and comfortable! I'm more of a wear-thongs-when-I-absolutely-have-to person rather than a wear-thongs-everyday person, but I think this thong has a casual, low-key appeal that thong fans will really love. This piece is made from a nylon/spandex blend that makes it smooth and stretchy all over. At first, I thought the waistband was a little tight, but I realized that if you give it a good strong stretch like you might with a fresh pair of tights, it relaxes a bit and fits a bit more comfortably with less of a pinch factor. I guess that raises the concern that this thong might stretch out and never stretch back, but it's serving me pretty well for now! And the pattern of muted teal blue and pale pink is so pretty!
Verdict: Once again, I really liked my BootayBag! The two styles end up being about $6.00 each, given the $12.00 cost of the subscription, which is just about what I'd pay for a single pair of similar-quality undies at the store. I have noticed that the waistbands of a lot of BootayBag pieces are slender or a little less forgiving than what I typically like (I'm a wide, lace waistband kind of gal), but as they're otherwise super comfortable (just not conducive for a smooth, body-hugging-dress-worthy silhouette), I'm happy to have these drawers in my drawer!
