Hawkins Cheezies, 2 snack size 28g packs – Value $2.61  – (Buy a 210g bag for $9.80 on Amazon)

These are quite similar to most corn puffs I’ve had here in the US, but just a tad cheesier with a little more crunch! If you like cheesy corn puffs, this snack is for you.

Christie’s Bits & Bites, 2.5 oz. – Value $1.98? (Price based on a similar product)

These are pretty similar to the American snack, Chex Mix, but these are just a little bit saltier and they have little toasted O’s (similar to cheerio’s). Overall, they taste pretty good but just a little too salty for my liking.

Old Dutch Creamy Dill Potato Chips, 55g – Value $5.48 (Buy a 120g bag for $11.95 on Amazon)

The cost for these baked chips is pretty high but the taste is great if you’re a pickle fanatic like myself! These are a winner in my book and worth the steep cost.

Ruffles All Dressed Potato Chips, 1.4 oz. – Value $0.71 (Buy an 8.5 oz. bag for $4.29 on Amazon)

This was my first experience with an All Dressed seasoned chip and I’m hooked! The flavors consist of salt, vinegar, barbecue, sour cream, onion, and many more! I definitely recommend trying these if you have the chance.

Double Dutch All Dressed Potato Chip, 66g – Value $3.93? (Price based on a similar product)

I’m glad they included two versions of the All Dressed chips because I like these even more than the previous chip! These crinkle cut chips are much more crunchy and have a more “baked” texture, which I appreciate – Yum!

Oh Henry! MIX Tubes, 2.0 oz., - Value $1.78

I was pretty excited to see this snack; I’m always drawn to anything with chocolate and peanut butter in it and this did not disappoint. This snack has the perfect sweet/salty ratio – I’m hooked!

Quaker Crispy Minis Ketchup, 100g – Value $1 (buy a 12-pack for $12.02 USD)

I’m not the biggest fan of ketchup, so I didn’t think I was going to like these and I was right. I did, however, share with some friends who loved the taste and have requested more!

Jos Louis Cakes, 2.8 oz. – Value $1.16 (Buy a 12 pack for $13.95 on Amazon)

This tiny chocolate cake sure is delicious! The cream isn’t overly sweet and the cake itself is moist and fluffy – I want more!

Maynard’s Fuzzy Peach, 64g – Value $2.08 (Buy a 355g for $11.56 on Amazon)

These are pretty similar to the sour peach rings we have here in the US, just a little denser but just as delicious. If you enjoy peach flavoring and sour things, you’ll definitely enjoy these!

Super Passion Flakie, 66g – Value $1.17 (Buy 6 for $7.00 on Amazon)

This pastry was a little too flaky for my liking and didn’t have enough filling in my opinion. The taste of the raspberry was really delicious and sweet, I just wish there was more of it!

Nestle Mackintosh Toffee Bars, 45g – Value $1.91 (Buy a 12 pack for $22.95 on Amazon)

I do enjoy the taste of toffee but this bar was way too difficult to eat for my liking. The overall taste was nice but I felt like I was going to break a tooth when taking my first bite.

Verdict: This was my first experience with Get Canucked and I enjoyed most of the items in my shipment. The estimated value received was $23.81, which is disappointing as the cost to receive this box was $35. I would recommend this box for anyone who likes trying new flavors from up North in Canada, but just to be aware that the value received may not meet the cost of the box itself.

Freeze the toffee then put it in a zip lock bag and break with a hammer.

The O Henry tube is basically a deconstructed version of an O Henry candy bar…which I am sure you would also like.

Ugh, I’m living in the states right now for my husband, but this review has me missing home <3 I have many fond memories of the Mackintosh toffee, I would just suck on it till it got soft and chewy, nomnom. As an adult though, kind of makes my teeth hurt thinking about it haha. Passion flakey is soooooo good, but I'm not sure it comes even close to qualifying as food lol. Looks like a great box.

I live in Canada and grew up with the Mackintosh toffee bars. They used to come wrapped in plastic but in a box and you’d take the box and slam it hard on the floor and then it would break into tiny bite size pieces that you could actually put in your mouth and be easier to chew 🙂

My Dad used to give us mackintosh’s toffee when we had wiggley teeth, chewing on that would pull them out super quick.
I’m still a little bummed that this sub didn’t send out the Swiss Chalet chips when they were available.
