I love that tissue box cover! What a unique idea for a woven item besides a basket! After a few months of not being impressed I already still want the new box I didn’t get from last month and both of this month’s themes seem nice to me so far. Well played, GlobeIn. Lol.

This looks wonderful to me! I love the kleenex holder. Actually, I love everything. The “Wired” box is going to have to be pretty great to beat this. And I think the price is perfectly reasonable, actually a great deal, considering the idea is to pay fair prices to artisans for their beautiful hand work.

$50?????? what? For $50 I’d rather go to BB&B and pick something out.
Its really nice though.

I think the idea is that these are fair prices for artisans who handmade them. The stuff you’d pick out at BB&B are more likely to be made by factory workers making far, far below minimum wage.

That or that it’s just one the millions of the same item that was distributed to their multiple stores.
The value doesn’t come from the item alone but also from the fact that your supporting an artisan who is individually handmaking each one of the products. It takes talent, time and dedication.
When I buy this box I do so knowing that I could probably get something similar and cheaper. However I feel a lot better knowing I’m supporting an artisan and not a corporation.
