Description clearly states at least 3 full size products with a box value of $103. I got a blush refill, a deluxe travel size lash tamer, a mascara half the size of a regular travel size, a travel size lemon rinse and a travel size face wash. Maybe you could count a single mask as full size. Did not receive most of the products listed in reviews/spoiler. Not at all what I was expecting at less than half the advertised value. Cancelling

Thank God this was glossy dots box for me. Might be the last it if the other products are this lackluster.

Can someine please explain to me how come something that was supposed to be in last month’s box has become a “product” of this month’s box? The Doucce Palette was from last month, for whatever reason they didn’t send it complete, but it SHOULD NOT count as one of this month’s products!

It doesn’t count as an item this month- its a bonus. 🙂 I think this image is misleading/confusing.
Doucce sells the items seperately. Its a mix and match type item. Last month they sent th compact and allowed you to chose your color for August. Allure subscription sends new trays of seasonal colors every couple months as a bonus item in their boxes. I actually hope glossy does too in the future now that we have the compact. I am sure this product isn’t for everyone, but I never complain about bonuses! 🙂

They actually counted it as three separate products.. they also counted the plastic palette as a separate item.

They intended to send the palette with one blush in July then allow everyone to choose the second blush for the August box. Most likely it’s a marketing strategy to get everyone to continue their sub another month so they could complete their palette.

i received my august box already and spoiled the contents on the forum – i did the $30 for 3 deal, and at $10/box i’m satisfied with what i received, but would have been disappointed if i paid full price.

I did the same & cancelled since August is the last box of the deal. My box is due to arrive sometime today.

That’s been my outlook on every box! I’m content with it for $10 but no way would I actually pay the $20 for the one product I generally am OK with keeping.

Thanks for posting your box in the forum. I don’t know what’s up with Glossybox. Their values are way off and now their already inexpensive products aren’t even full size.
Time to look for a different sub. Too bad, I loved it when I first signed up but it’s been going downhill ever since.

Just checked the forum and in addition to the three products featured in this post, the other items that were received were doctor babor hydro gel eye pads, a bliss body butter and a freeman charcoal and probiotics cleanser mask. These may or may not be variations.
I’m surprised that someone got their August box so early in the month.

God, that’s depressing.

I’m happy to see a Pixi product in this box. I just recently added the Glow Tonic to my routine. I love it.
I do have a question, if someone could be kind enough to help me out. I ordered a second sub when they offered 3 months for $30 in July. I got my shipping notification but it’s for the August box and my sub ends in September. That’s only 2 boxes. Wasn’t this supposed to start in July? I emailed customer service and got the 10-14 days for a response email. Just wondered if anyone was having this same issue or had an knowledge of the situation? I appreciate any help. Thank you.

My situation is opposite. I got the 3 month sub for $30 and received three July boxes with in two weeks!!! Im up to be rebilled in august! It makes no sense what so ever. I emailed, called and nothing, no help at all. I just cancelled because im done. I loved glossybox for a few years and need a break.

I received two July boxes. Finally received a response today. They told me to consider it a gift and I would still receive August and September.
Skimbogirl81
Well that’s just crazy! And awful cause july wasn’t all that great. Maybe someone will respond and make it right?
viola
im having the same issue!!!!!!

Thank you guys for replying so quickly. It’s good to know I’m not the only one. I often feel like I’m cursed because things always seem to happen to me. Like orders getting messed up or overlooked or just forgotten entirely. I guess I just thought july would come first. Maybe it’s because I ordered at the end of the month? I do think 10-14 days is a bit extreme for an email response, but it’s still better than Macy’s customer service whose responses avoid my question completely. Thanks again everyone!

I just received shipping notifications for my July box. Hopefully you have received yours, too. Now, just waiting on the pony unexpress… This is a step in the right direction.

I am in the same situation as you are…. The 10-14 day wait, tracking info arrived for the August box, no July box, no tracking for it, but an email that says it’s ordered. It is listed as in the “Pack” stage in the My Orders history, while the August one lists as in the Ship Stage. I do not understand a 10-14 day wait for a response, that seems shady to me. But, know that you are not alone.

I’m in this same position. It’s hard to get excited about the August box when they still owe me for July.

It seems like this has happened to a few others that took advantage of this offer, and they are also waiting for replies from CS. 🙁

Their instagram teased a few products and said one would be in this month’s box. One was Supergoop and they commented on the post so it appears that will be In the box as well, at least as a variation.

I saw that post. Sesha commented they would be honored to have one of their products in a box. I hope it’s that one. No offense to Supergoop but the last thing I need is ANOTHER sunscreen lol.

I agree, please no more sunscreen. Seems every box has included it this Spring and Summer. It’s nice to try different kinds but I’ll never use them all before they expire.
I’m excited about the mascara and pixi product. I wasn’t real impressed with the blush from last month’s box so I probably won’t like this one either.
