Now, on to the items!
Thistle Organic Cream Shadow in Rose Gold - Value $21.50
This creamy eyeshadow is so easy to blend - maybe too easy! The finished blended look is super shimmery and sheer. I recommend using a heavy duty primer if you want a more pigmented look.
Here it is swatched:
The rose gold shade is gorgeous, and this could work well as a highlighter, too.
Thistle Absorb Face - Sample
This was a tiny sample and not a very useable container, either. The powder worked well though - it gave me a matte finish, and help absorb some of the shine from the eyeshadow, too.
Deco Miami Nail Lacquer in Namaste by the Pool– Value $12.50
(Subscribers will receive one of six colors.)
(This bottle is tinier than some nail polishes. For reference, it is 6 ml and Julep is 8 ml.)
I got full coverage with one coat, and the formula dried quickly. Here it is on:
I don't usually go for bold color nails, but this blue feels so summery! I like it!
Deco Miami Crystal Nail File - Value $10.50
I received one of these nail files in the Summer BeautyCon Box as well. It's a pretty nail file that works well, so I'm happy to have a spare.
Elyse Marie No. 35 Facial Mist - Value $29
This toner/facial mist can be used to tone, tighten, and balance the skin as a toner, or it can be used to set makeup, refresh your skin throughout the day. I appreciate that the spray nozzle gives a fine mist, but I wasn't in love with the rose geranium scent.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $73.50. I think that's a good value for a $36 natural/organic beauty box. This box wasn't as great as some other months for me (maybe it's just getting a second nail file and not being excited about it), but I still love this subscription.
