-All 3-4 star hotels
-All different hotels are used depending on dates and destination and what is available
-It is best to book 60 days in advance for best possible selection
-Some black out dates which are the major holidays but we were told if they book 60 days in advance this can sometimes allow travel on the blackout dates
-Some restrictions apply. The customer is responsible for paying taxes and a small one-time processing fee of $39.
-Value is hard to determine since it will depend on what destination is picked and the time of year traveling.
-We are paying for the basic package of 1 round trip airline ticket and 2 nights in a hotel and if the customer wants to upgrade, they have that option.

Does anyone know if this box is actually still available with the free trip? It’s still listed on their website for sale…

Just in case anyone was interested: I reached out to Luxor Box and this is what they responded with.

“The sale did end but we have had some credit cards and e check payments that did not process so we put those boxes back in the store. There are only a few and they all include the free travel certificate so if you are interested we suggest you grab one asap before they sell out. Thanks so much and we hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. :-)”

So if anyone missed out… there’s still a few left.

I am getting the palladium bangle and would love to swap for gold if anyone is interested. I’ve already listed mine so feel free to request. I’m Breana on the page. 🙂

PS: the Halcyon bangles are awesome. If you don’t have one yet, the Black/Gold Honeycomb bracelet is gorgeous!

I really like the first two spoilers for this box. And, since the travel is clearly a bonus, I don’t have any expectations regarding it.

Luxor isn’t includeing the travel vouchers in the RV of the box, so I’m not going to be disappointed if isn’t something I can use. Travel vouchers can be complicated and often involve an additional outlay of money – I think that’s just something you have to expect.

I have been disappointed in the past by boxes that included one or more vouchers or “gift cards” for items that were either useless to me because they were location specific or required a significant $$$ investment in my part.

While I don’t mind receiving these items as bonuses – and am thrilled for those can take advantage of the offers – I think it’s poor practice to include these type of items as part of a box’s RV.

That being said, props to LUXOR Box for they way they’ve handled this. I think they are trying to be upfront that this is just a bonus item. I definitely wouldn’t purchase this box in hopes of having a free vacation/getaway. The again, I know an excellent travel against in Florida, so many it will be a great opportunity to have a mini subsestra weekend!

I would agree with you if the travel certificate was really framed as just a no-promises bonus, but Luxor Box really pumped it up. They sent several promotional emails for the travel certificate and put a slideshow of the different destinations on the box page. If they announce the travel certificate is included in the box, they have to expect that people will buy the box with the expected/estimated value of the box in mind. If you don’t want people to expect anything from the travel certificate, don’t advertise that the travel certificate is included.

Do we know what the other items are in this box yet?

Nothing shady about it – you must read and agree to the “fine print” before you pay for the box. Everything is clearly explained in the text. The color of the bracelet is the only thing that changed from one day to the next. I am getting the gold one and would love to trade for a silver when it comes in.

I would LOVE to trade with you! I’m on the swap site as Lavinia!!!

I am sure they have already calculated the number of travel certificates that will NOT be used and I am sure they will still come out to the good.

Sam

yes, i would like to swap with anyone who got the gold as well. thanks!

Even a free trip would cost me $500 for car rental, food, etc. I can drop $450, but not $1000, lol.

Happy it’s back in stock for those who were afraid they missed out! 🙂

I wish I could spend that much money on a box, but I can’t bring myself to do it!! It is so tempting though.

Sold out again. My head hurts over how much I’ve gone back and forth on whether I should get this or not LOL

It’s not sold out, this link is for the original box that did already sell out.

Carolina

Ahh ok, I found the other one – thanks!!

Jenny

Kinda shady. Sells out and back in stock the next day. And the promo is not gone away yet considering how expensive it would be if it is really that much. That raises so many questions for me. Glad that i didnt buy it last night and surely wont be buying it today

I don’t see anything shady, it seems the bracelet is out of stock, so they re-stocked with a different color.

Susan

Same. Luxor just joined my potentially shady box club.

Yes, I’m now a little wary myself. In fact, after the original box initially sold out (but before the announced the extra “100” that they miraculously made available) I checked back on the off chance it was still available and was able to order at around 1:30pm EDT today. Right after that, I saw that they made the other box (with the gold bracelet) available in a limited quantity, but I just double checked and I am definitely getting the Palladium bracelet so it’s a little weird. Also, if anyone got the gold and wants the Palladium I would be more than happy to swap.
