The 'Fortress' crate featured items from Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

As per usual, the box itself transforms into something fun. Let your new High Dragon guard your castle!

Each box comes with a large, fold out, information card/poster.

One side features a 28x22 poster - this month features Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The reverse side gives you all of the info you'll need about this month's items.

It should also be noted that this month includes DLC bonus content from Pinball FX 2 that is delivered directly to the email address associated with your account.

Fortress Pin - Value $5?

You'll always get a theme-specific pin to start off your box. This month's pin features an Elder Scrolls coin.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War Shirt - Value $15?

The initial Middle Earth game was so great that I can almost guarantee that Shadow of War will be fantastic as well! The shirt features a Ringwraith's mask - great design!

Dragon Age: Inquisition High Dragon Figure - Value $20-25?

This is the latest in Loot Crats new in-house figure line - and it's just awesome!

The High Dragon stands about 5 inches tall, ready to go to battle.

I thought they did well with the detail work and paint job on this figure - they're really starting off very strong with their new line - more of these, please!

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sheikah Slate Notebook - Value $10?

This was a great idea for a notebook design!

Breath of the Wild fans will immediately recognize these Sheikah Slates - and I love that it comes with the handles from the game.

Inside, it's more of a sketch pad - so use it for doodling or note keeping.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Bottle Stopper - Value $10-15?

This bottle stopper goes along perfectly with the paperweight from the November 2016 Loot Crate DX!

It's got the insignia for The School of the Wolf order. Use it to cap off the beverage of your choice!

Verdict: I honestly wasn't sure if I'd like this month's Loot Gaming since the theme didn't feel perfect for me - but I'm loving the latest figure, Sheika slate, and shirt from the Fortress Loot Gaming! Even more than the products, I'm happy that this arrived on time - Loot Crate has been suffering from shipping issues due to manufacturer supply in a number of their subscription boxes - Let's hope they get it cleared up as we move into Fall. For me, just keep these figures coming!

Dragon statue was great but the shirt was so disappointing. Such laziness. Basically just wearing an ad for the game.

I’m not a fan of LotR, but that is a nice design. The notebook design is neat, but is kind of a useless item to me. The bottle stopper is well sculpted and cool. The figure though is the highlight of the box. For an in house design very well done; good design, detailed and a larger size than i expected. After a few medicore crates I’m glad they finally came through with a good one.

Fantastic box! That figure is absolutely gorgeous. Loot Crate is doing such a great job on their new figures, and I’m sure it’s much cheaper for them to make them in-house. Also, I NEED that Sheikah Slate notebook! It is so great!!

I see you mentioned shipping issues. I signed up for the July (lootcrate) minechest, paid $40, didn’t receive tracking number or package. I contacted customer service around August 14th (the website says package should be here 5-15). I was told that it would take around 2-4 weeks. They offered a measly 10% off for next time. And today I finally receive it and it’s JUST A TSHIRT, not a box with 4-7 items. I emailed them and they said they would send me the box in another 2-4 weeks. It doesn’t take that long to ship a package. When you screw up this badly, you should do what you can to make it right, like at least get it here as soon as possible or offer at least 20% off. I guess since they already have my money they don’t care when I get my box.

Even though Im not a fan of LotR, the shirt design is very nice. The sketch pad, neat design but ultimately this kind of item i find kind of useless. The bottle stopper is cool, a very well done sculp. The figure I’d say is one of the best loot crate has done. Nice design, good details and a fairly large design; for an in house its quality surprised me. After a number of mediocre gaming crates, I’m very glad this box came through.
