That Daily Deal announced a brand new, low cost, dog box in February - Mini Monthly Mystery Box For Dogs. This goes along with their other monthly mystery boxes: Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter and Mini Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter - this one is focused on a lower cost option from their Pet Treater subscription for your pup.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Mini Monthly Mystery Box For Dogs

The Cost: $9.99 with FREE shipping (Small, Medium, and Large options available)

The Products:

  • Love your dog but don’t need a BIG box of stuff every month? This is for you!

The typical delivery will have 2-3 items that stay around the same total value. Each item is a mystery without any type of theme.

This month, I receive two treats and one plush toy.

I'd Rather Be With My Dog Trios - Value $9-10 on Amazon

The first bag of treats was a real favorite for our dog. These sticks contain chicken, duck, and turkey all in one. We try to keep Buckles grain and gluten-free since it was the only thing that solved his ear infection issues - so the fact that these tick all of those boxes was a big deal for us.

This is a brand that Buckles and I are familiar with already - we have some current favorites from them, and this was unsurprisingly a hit.

Three Dog Bakery Fetch It! Sticks - Value $5-10?

I can't find these on their website, or for sale elsewhere, so the value is a guess. These are crispy cheese sticks for your pup.

While Buckles did keep come back to check these out, he never ending up eating any of it - which was a big surprise!

Petlou Monkey - Value $12 on Chewy

The third and final item is a plush toy.

This toy is a fleece monkey with some hidden squeakers in the hands, feet, mouth, and head!

It's about 20 inches long, so it can be used for a bit of tugging with your pup, but I'm not sure how long it'd last. Buckles loved this toy and kept throwing it all over the room!

Verdict: This box has been really great since the first-ever delivery in March. It delivers definite value, which is something that dog boxes don't always do - you might net a $5 value, but with this box, it tends to easily double the cost each month. More importantly - our dog likes "reviewing" it!

Does this sub have shipping problems? I ordered August 3rd and still have no box! I was charged on August 3rd too, of course, and their customer service so far has been awful.

It says on their website “All boxes ship between the 20th and 25th of the month” if that helps? So maybe it’s just stuck in transit somewhere or having issues because of the hurricane….Do you have a contact email for them? I want to message them but can’t find anything!

I did find a contact email and it took them over a week to answer. All they said was “our boxes ship between the 20-25th”. The end of the email! I finally got my box on August 30th and it was the July box, not August, and it was awful! I cancelled.

OK I am sold. My Bam Bam just became a subscription addict like his momma. Can’t wait to see what we get in his first box.

Buckles and his lil white muzzle are my favorite parts of this blog.
