Let’s take a look at what’s inside!
Artek Chocolate Wafers – Value $2.00
This is basically the classic cookie wafer we have here in the US, but this product is from Russia. The chocolate flavoring in the middle is perfectly sweet and the wafer isn’t too crumbly. This treat rocks and is a winner in my book.
Herr’s Red Hot Potato Chips, 1 oz. – Value $2.00
These chips pack quite a bit of heat from the first bite to the last. This isn’t an issue for me as I love all spicy foods, but if you’re sensitive to the heat, these chips are definitely not for you.
Bobalu Nuts Honey Cinnamon & Sugar Almonds, 1.2 oz. – Value $2.00
I love almonds, so I was very excited to try these out! These are a little different than other almonds I’ve had in the past; they’re in a cinnamon and sugar shell casing, which is meant to be sucked on before getting the almond inside out to eat. All in all, I really enjoyed these but would have rather had them without the shell.
Haribo Fizzy Cola Gummies, 5 oz. – Value $3.00
I’m not a big fan of cola or cola flavored candy, but these may have just changed my mind on that! The cola flavoring is quite delicious and not overpowering, which I appreciate. I can only eat a few in one sitting but that’s OK, as I’ll get to keep these around for a little longer.
Ulker Hanimeller Assorted Cookies, 180 g. – Value $3.00
These are basically the tin can butter cookies we would see in the US, but in a bag and from Turkey! Most of the people I know are not a fan of these basic cookies, but I’ve always been drawn to these buttery, yet simple treats. If you’re like me and enjoy those tin can cookies, these are right up your alley!
Dream Cream Chocolate & Vanilla Biscuits – Value $1.00
These buttery biscuit cookies are quite delicious and the chocolate and vanilla flavoring packed in the middle is just right and not overly sweet. If you like Oreos, or any similar cookie like that, you’ll definitely appreciate these.
RJ’s Soft Eating Raspberry Licorice, 1.4 oz. – Value $3.00
I’m not normally a fan of licorice but the raspberry flavoring and chewy texture of this rope is unlike others I’ve previously had, and I like it! This product is from the Netherlands and I want more!
Tinny Taffy Raspberry – Value $3.00
This is basically your run of mill taffy and is a nice basic treat for anyone who doesn’t want anything overly sweet. The texture is extremely chewy and takes a minute or so to get through one of them.
Tuc Crackers Paprika Flavor, 3.52 oz. – Value $3.00
I’ve been on a big paprika flavor kick as of lately, so it was nice to see these in this month’s package! The flavoring isn’t overly powering and these were nice to enjoy by themselves or dipped in hummus.
Caramel Filled Cupcake – Value: $2.00?
The scanner was unable to find this product, so I’m basing the value off of similar products I found on the MunchPak site. This cupcake was delicious and probably one of my favorites items in the shipment! The cupcake itself was extremely moist and the caramel sauce in the middle wasn’t overly sweet. This product is a 10 out of 10 in my book!
Verdict: This was my first MunchPak and I really enjoyed the wide variety of candy and snacks that were in the shipment. The value to purchase this box, which includes shipping, is $22.95 and the value received was $24. I would suggest this box to anyone who has any interest in trying new snacks from other parts of the world!
Have you tried any of the products that were my MunchPak shipment this month?
