This is a no-frills subscription. You'll be getting the amount of POPs of your choice in a plain brown box. But, with any subscription, you'll have a chance to pull a 6 inch POP or POP Ride - I think I've received an oversized POP at least twice with my subscription.

Here's a quick run-down of creating your PIAB account:

The first thing you'll want to do is set up your collection. This is an important step to ensure that you don't receive a duplicate POP or a POP that you may not care about.

piab-1

You can cycle through POPs and selection options for each one. Mark 'Add to my Collection' for POPs you have and avoid duplicates. Give POPs a thumbs down to let PIAB know that you don't want it, and mark it as thumbs up to let them know that you're really interested in that specific POP.

piab-2

There are a TON of POPs to go through. I haven't even gone through all of them, but in the end, you'll have built your own collection! This will help you keep track of what you have, and it will help PIAB know what to send.

They also no offer subscription options for Marvel, DC, Disney, Dorbz, and Rock Candy - find out all the details here!

The first batch of POPs are ALL from Batman: The Animated Series!

Scarecrow POP

Scarecrow

Scarecrow's Animated Serie POP is just great - it's probably my second favorite in this whole series.

The hate has some issues, though, which is a bummer. Paint issues was a definite problem back in the day when Funko first started - but I haven't seen too many recently.

We'll be filling up A LOT of this series today!

Bane POP

Bane

Yes! Bane! I really love the comic book version of Bane - and the Animate Series stuck really close to that idea.

He's got all of the necessary pieces in his costume. Now, they need a giant-sized, juiced up, Bane!

Catwoman POP

Catwoman

Is she a friend or foe? We still don't know - rhyme intended.

I'm a big fan of the gray suit Catwoman - and I love the design of the flowing whip.

My favorite is still to come...

Clayface

This is definitely my favorite in this series, and quite possibly one of my favorite POPs ever.

I love the expression, the teeth, and the overall design of this sculpt!

After all of this - we only have 2 left to collect!

Han Solo POP

Han Solo (Snow Gear)

Remember this exclusive? It comes from all the way back from the December 2015 Loot Crate!

I had previously taken this one out of the box and tossed the box - so I'm happy to get another one to add it to my stacked POP wall.

Bran Stark POP

Bran Stark

Oh, pre-pushed-out-of-the-window Bran, we hardly knew you.

It's a VERY basic POP. I think you could've told me this was a different character and I would have believed you!

There are a lot of this series to collect - but I definitely recommend getting Wun Wun!

Verdict: This was a fantastic selection of POPs this month - it hit all kinds of areas that I like, and also only sent me POPs that I had thumbs-up'd. You'll have to thumbs up a lot of POPs though if they don't have any in stock of your selections - they'll fall back to POPs that you have marked 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down' to. Again, this subscription is really only for the bulk collector looking to round out collections - or the beginner looking to start up their collection!

Clayface!

I absolutely love the Batman Animated Series. It was SOOO good. I wish it had more seasons or could undergo a revival!

I think it’s kind of a cop-out that Bran is able-bodied. Could they not have figured out some way to include / show the disability that is a crucial aspect of his character’s development from most of season 1 onward?

I can almost guarantee that version is coming in a future wave. They’re all over different character variants and sculpts from season to season – I’m just surprised it hasn’t happened yet!
