I really love the Beauty Counter stick from the summer Box of Style. I mostly wear it as lip color and it’s just a perfect not-too-much-but-definitely-something color for me.

This post is kinda making me sad, I’ve received so many beauty samples and full size products this summer and there’s literally nothing I’m constantly using or wanting to buy. The rituals glossybox was amazing, but that was the spring. I just realized that Sephora Play has introduced me to so many awesome things and I’m going to resub right now, I always complain about them but last year I found some great products I ended up buying.

From a sub:
– Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet (Ipsy):
– Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle Spray (Birchbox)
– Benefit Porefessional Face Primer (Birchbox)
Sub-related:
– Caudalie Beauty Elixir (from the Sephora Favorites Ultimate Travel Bag advertised here on MSA): OMG, I am *obsessed* with this stuff now. The first couple of times I used it, I didn’t really care for the scent, but now I can’t get enough! It just feels so clean and calming and refreshing! I am on my 2nd mini bottle and I am actually thinking of splurging and buying the full size. I am hooked.
– tarte drench lip splash lipstick in “cabana boy” (from the custom kit advertised here on MSA): I love the color and feel of this lipstick, and the packaging is really pretty. However, I have heard that there isn’t much product in these tubes, so it probably isn’t a good bang for your buck unless you’re getting it like this as part of a grab bag custom kit type thingy.
Not from a sub:
– e.l.f. Makeup Remover Pen: This thing is a lifesaver. You know the saying “Practice makes perfect”? I believe that’s mostly true EXCEPT for applying liquid eyeliner. This thing makes cleanup so easy, and it is only $3!!! I have already purchased 3 and would definitely purchase again.
– No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow Trio in “Cappuccino”: I got this in my Xmas stocking and was surprised at how it ended up being my every day go-to eyeshadow. I like the way it feels and the colors are nice neutrals. I would definitely purchase this again.

Even after this tl;dr comment, I still forgot something! 😀
My favorite recent beauty BRAND discovery is (unfortunately) Tatcha.
I say unfortunately because it is sooo e$$pensive! I have fallen in love with their water cream, camellia cleansing oil, and blotting papers.
I have never spent more than $15 on a moisturizer in my life and I am seriously considering purchasing the full size water cream for $68. Help.

The Zelens Vitamin drops and Indie Lee Co-Q toner in the Caroline Hirons x Cult Beauty Box are my new must-haves. I also love the Beauty Counter sunscreen from the RZ Box of Style! I ordered two July Popsugar Must Have boxes, partly because I love the Supergoop sunscreen mousse (as well as everything else) that came in the box.

I have found so many new loves…but I am a lippie girl….I LOVE the Akar ruby tint butter….have purchased 4 full sized since the sample in the allure box. The Ven lip cream (can’t remember which box) and the dermatological nightly lip treatment (also can’t remember which Box). I also can’t live without the Laniege Spwcial Care Lip Sleeping Mask. Have never seen it in a sub box….just the other skincare items. I love this question….so fun to see what other people love!

That deodorant is my go to now too. I use Degree, but I do love that, however my favorite is mascara primer that I discovered in a Target box as well.

I can’t live without Julep’s Love Your Bare Face cleansing stick and Konjac Sponge. My skin has never looked better.

From the boxes: I got Too Faced Better than Sex (full size!) in Look Incredible, which you don’t review here. It is every bit as good as they say and I love it, but had never tried it before. I also can’t remember the brand name – skinny something – but I got a coconut oil from Vegan Cuts that is the only thing that soothes the eyelid rashes I get.

I’ll admit, Glossybox is not wowing many subscribers these days (it is way to hard to compete with Boxycharm in the $21 box market), but a couple of my favorite products have come from GB, the most recent being the Doucce blushes. I feel like people are upset about GB splitting the blush duo over two months and general lack of customer service and may not be giving the blush a fair shot. I think they deserve some recognition for being pigmented and blending beautifully, I didn’t feel like they were chalky in the least! The first one sent, Summer Sunset was a beautiful summery coral, and the second I received was Pink Beach which gives a healthy cool-weather rosiness. I’ll set aside my gripes about receiving the wrong blush color for now…

I’m liking the $10 GB deals….I’ll probably keep my sub after the deal goes away. BUT hoping for more of it…..:) Funny, a lot of our “favorites” seem to come from GB in this survey…!

I noticed that also. Even though they had some real misses they had some great products.

I love Benefit’s Roller Lash Mascara, their Gimme Brow, and First Aid Beauty cleanser with red clay. My favorite of all time is Eyes by To go Spa and any sheet mask!!!

The Boscia pore pudding mask from a Sephora play! box. I notice a pretty big difference in my skin every time I use it!

The Blinc Electric Eyes Palette from BoxyCharm has become my go to for my eyes. I collect palettes, but I keep using this one. The colors just blend so well.

From sub boxes: the oval paddle brush from the May Boxycharm. I love it. It really makes a huge difference in how my cc cream is applied and looks.
Also, the Bare Minerals spf primer from the July Boxycharm. Another layer of spf for my face is good for me! A little goes a long way. And it goes on nicely under my cc cream with spf.
Not from sub boxes: from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I got Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant, and I LOVE it. It exfoliates like nobody’s business and made my skin so soft and smooth after ONE USE. I am sold. I couldn’t stop touching my face. The only other time my skin was like that was after I got a dermaplane facial.

Unani Milk Cleanser from Glossybox. And polish called Pink Gel Coat by Perfect Formula in an Ipsy bag. That polish is the ONLY thing that saved my nails.

I’m really liking the Sunday Riley Tidal cream from BoS Winter 2016. It’s not recent, but I’m still using it. 🙂
I have been really happy with Trust Fund Beauty nail polishes – they dry faster than any others that I’ve found, which is typically a huge issue for me.
The “mermaid tears” nail oil we got in I think May Popsugar has been great for me. I thought it’d be junk & never would have thought about buying it before, but I’ve used it the last few times I’ve done my nails, after removing old polish and before applying the new, and it’s been really great. I think it’s made a difference in how smooth the polish goes on, and in my cuticles’ appearance.

I loved the Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet from my Ipsy bag, it feels so refreshing on my skin. Another product, Lather Cucumber and Facial Mist from Yuzen also feels and smells awesome! The Aerin beach cream from my GlossyBox adds a nice sparkle to my skin and I will definitely use it at the beach this October. When Ipsy sent the City Color eye shadow in Beach Cottage I was thinking, it was really to green for me, but then I used it wet as an eyeliner and loved it so much that I ordered 6 more colors.
How do you guys organize? I ended up buying 15 Tartan & Twine triangle make-up bags (I previously used those to store my make-up in) and one of those cubicle organizer with pull out cubes and divided all the products into by category. I only keep the products that I currently use in my bathroom.

I use the SKUBB series from Ikea to keep organized. I have several of the zip up nylon drawers in my bathroom closet, with the smaller cubes inside to organize my sample/travel size items, extras I’ve swapped for that I won’t need until I run out, etc. and then out on the counter (we have a big counter) I have everything organized for my makeup – palettes, lipsticks, brushes, etc. all in separate sections.

I just finished the bottle of Dr. Hauschka facial toner from Whole Foods bag. I really enjoyed that and must by more.
The Kat Von D lip cream in a jar was used to the very last drop from Ipsy. I prefer tubes but this lasted on my lips longer than any tube of product.

It came in July’s Glossybox and I love it too! I actually got two bottles of it because I wound up with two boxes that month due to overlapping subscriptions.

Goodal Waterest First Essence from Birchbox I think. Have bought it several times. I’m glad I liked it better than the SKII sample I got from Allure…a lot less expensive
