Each month is themed, and the August theme was 'Dragon'.
You'll get a card that details the items in the box.
On the reverse side, it shows off next months theme, as well.
Each month includes a themed button, as well.
"Someday I'll be a Dragon" Shirt - Value $15?
This month's shirt plays on Pokemon, I believe.
I don't know too much about it, so it's hard for me to pinpoint exactly the reference (let me know in the comments). Like 1UP Box, the shirts are always super comfortable!
Magma Wyvern 1000 piece puzzle - Value $15-20?
The biggest item in the box is this 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle.
This thing would keep me occupied for a long, long time! You can see the end result of the puzzle pictured above!
Yoshi Air Freshener - Value $1-2?
You'll get a little Yoshi air freshener in 1 of 4 colors - green, red, yellow, or blue.
Yoshi Decals - Value $5?
You'll also get Yoshi decals with the exact same design as the air freshener - but you'll get one of each color.
Dragon Breathe Mints - Value $3-4?
Finally, you'll get an icy Dragon breath mint set - all this makes me think of is Game of Thrones!
Verdict: Super Geek Box, like 1UP Box, has always felt like a geek box geared towards the younger audience. At about $25 a month - you're right around the same cost as Loot Crate - but this feels like products you would get in the younger days of that box. But, overall, the value is there and I still see it as a good option for someone looking for a geek box for a younger fan.
What did you think of the August 2017 Dragon Super Geek Box?
