Each month of The Collector's Case has a theme or featured franchise(s). This month's theme was Vampires and Bunnies.
You'll get this little faux manilla envelope that lists out the items in your box, the variants you could receive, and the chase items.
Vampires and Bunnies Shirt - Value $15?
This month's exclusive shirt sticks the theme to a T. Is the vampire and bunny combo a thing? I'm probably just out of the loop!
Cryptozoic DC Bombshells Harley Quinn Black and White Variant - Value $30-35?
The regular version of this costs about $28 - so I'm valuing this 2016 Fan Expo variant a bit higher.
Harley stands 6 inches tall - perfect to pair with the Wonder Woman Loot Crate statue from May!
Donnie Darko Frank Dorbz - Value $9-10 on Amazon
It's been a long while since I've seen Donnie Darko - but it's one of those movies you were urged to watch back in the day - and this Frank figure is just awesome!
There aren't too many in the collection - but there is a chase figure - and there is a possibility of getting the limited edition chase figure instead of Frank - but I honestly prefer Frank!
Creepy as ever!
Titan Buffy Vinyl Figures - Value $20-25 for both
You'll get two blind box figures featuring Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I got Drusilla and Willow.
If you're a toy collector, you're probably familiar with the Titan figure style - more realistic facial features and that triangular body with the little hook hands.
Vampire Diaries Trading Cards - Value $10-15 for both packs
You'll also get two packs of Vampire Diaries trading cards.
These cards have costume and autograph cards as chase items - my packs didn't have any of those.
Dark Horse Buffy Autumnal Volume - Retail $9.95 ($1-3 on Amazon)
You'll get volume #9 in an ongoing Buffy series from Dark Horse Comics.
I've admitted a few times in past reviews that had Buffy items that I was just never a fan of the show - but I like the old movie! Anyways, Dark Horse Comics product a lot of great comics, so I'm sure fans of the show will love extending that universe with the comic.
Twilight Bag Clip Charm - Value ??
The values for these are just all over the place - when the charms include a character - I see them going for $100, even the 'Team Jacob" variant goes for $50 - so it's a bit all over the place!
I got the more basic charm selection.
Verdict: I love the bombshell and Dorbz figure - but going in, I knew this theme wasn't really for me - so I'm not surprised that I've come away feeling a bit 'eh'. I'm sure fans of these franchise will love a lot more of this box, though - not everything can cover my fandoms!
