Wantable is a fitness styling subscription service similar to Stitch Fix. You fill out an in-depth survey about your fitness clothing preferences, and your stylist picks out items for you. Wantable offers several types of "Edits" and "Collections" for you to choose from. With "Edits" (choose Fitness or Style), a stylist will curate pieces that you can choose to buy at a discount or return at no additional cost (just the $20 monthly styling fee). For "Collections" (choose Makeup or Intimates), you'll pay $40 (Makeup) or $50 (Intimates) per month to receive items you can keep at no additional cost.
I'll be reviewing the Intimates Collection today, which is $50.00 per month (+ free U.S. shipping).
Wantable sent me this box for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Wantable sign-up process is simple and straightforward. When you sign up for this subscription, you take the Wantable style profile "quiz." The quiz covers everything from size to preferred cut, colors, and styles, and most of the questions let you articulate whether you "Love," "Like," or "Dislike" something, rather than giving a hard yes or no. That's great for me since I'm pretty open-minded about the intimates I buy—I don't outright dislike a lot of things, but I can say that there are certain go-to styles or colors I just love to wear. This quiz let me articulate that, which makes me think the pieces I get will be a more accurate match for my style.
Since this is a "Collection" subscription, there's no real need for me to worry about the cost of each item (in the Fitness "Edit" I reviewed, I had to decide whether I wanted to keep—and be charged for—what I got in the box, so having the values listed was a little more pressing). But I always like to see what products I'm getting retail for. One, because it helps me understand whether the $50 box is really worth it, and two, because then I can show you all!
Oh, and just FYI before we get started: I set my preferences as to size M for tops and size L for bottoms. I'm usually a 36B, a size 6 or 8 in dresses, and a size 10(ish) in jeans and pants.
Halter Babydoll Black by Oh La La Cheri, Size S-XL - Listed Value $17.69 (Retail Price $29.00, Listed Retail Price $30.00)
This is probably the sexiest item I've received in Wantable thus far! It's listed as one item in the invoice, but it's actually a set of two pieces—a babydoll and a matching thong, which comes tagged to the item. I really love the halter neckline—it's actually a bit more like a yoke neckline, in the way there are both front and back lace panels that extend down from the ribbon-trimmed, tied neckline. In other words, your back isn't totally exposed like in a traditional halter. The floral lace is pretty, and I like that there's a stripe of it that extends down the middle front of the piece—it gives the mesh bottom half of this piece some visual interest. I will say that this one-size-fits-all item was pretty tight going over my size-large hips. As you pull it up, it feels like it hugs tighter, almost like one of those novelty-finger traps, but on my body. It was comfortable enough, and I see the appeal of this piece being as body-hugging as possible, but it did feel like it might easily rip. And I've gotta give the idea of this fitting an XL body a side-eye—I feel like it'd be super uncomfortable to wear! I'd recommend this piece for someone who wears a medium in dresses (or just in items like this). If you're a large like me, or anything beyond, I'd maybe pick something a little looser.
The attached thong is similarly a little on the tight side for me. The waistband ends up cutting into my hip pudge, making a bit of a divot that ruins the smooth silhouette that the babydoll encourages. The triangle on the back ends up looking a bit like a cutout panel, which is kind of sassy and cute, but it's not a super high-quality piece overall. If it was just slightly comfier, I might be more excited to wear it. As it stands, I might swap this thong out with another black thong that I already own.
Lace Long Line Crochet Bra Black by Daisy Fuentes, Size 36B - Listed Value $14.15 (Retail Price $24.00)
I received a Daisy Fuentes bra with a similar "crochet" design in a previous box and I've been so happy with it. It's surprisingly comfortable for being a more affordable bra, and I really like the look of the black lace laying on top of the pale pink color of the cups. The wider band of this look isn't the most flattering on me, since my body is a little on the squishier side—the bottom edge of this bra ends up poking into me just above my natural waist, rather than laying flat. But that's not such a glaring problem that I won't wear this piece anyway! I think the long-line design will look really cute under tanks and dresses with low-cut arm holes.
Sugar Sweet Boyleg in Black by French Affair, Size Large - Listed Value $7.08 (Retail Price $6.25, Listed Retail Price $12.00)
I listed all the prices here since there's a bit of a discrepancy—French Affair actually lists this panty at just $6.25 on its website, while Wantable says its member price is $7.08. So it doesn't seem to be like much of a deal. They're a bit small on me, which is annoying, but the floral-patterned lace is pretty and the mesh back is cute. Overall, this isn't my favorite pick that I've received, but I'm also never going to turn down a pair of black undies—they're basically my go-to.
Beachy Babe Boyleg in Black/Grey by French Affair, Size L - Listed Value $7.08 (Retail Price $12.00)
Of the two French Affair items in this box, I think I like this pair better. It has a lace front and a sheer mesh back and a silvery gray elastic band that gives this lacy pair a bit of edge. The fit still isn't perfect—the waistband is sturdy, so it pinches in a bit more than the lace waistbands I prefer, but it is softer and more forgiving than I expected it would be. I couldn't find these online, but there aren't many French Affair undies that are more than $10.00, so I'm skeptical once again about the valuing of this piece.
Verdict: This month's Wantable Intimates picks leaned towards the sexier side of my style, which was fun to indulge. There were also four items in the box, rather than the usual three—I'm not sure which of the items counted as the "bonus", but I'm guessing it was probably one of the French Affair products? (I feel like that would help justify the fact that they both seemed just slightly overvalued.) I loved all the lace, and frankly, the black color scheme was totally my style. I was glad to see a Daisy Fuentes bra in here, too, since I loved the other one I received from Wantable. My only gripe is that I didn't really dig everything I got. The fit was kind of off, and the quality of what I got felt equivalent to things I could find for myself at a Marshalls or TJ Maxx. I wouldn't mind that if the items seemed suited to my size (in other words, if Wantable did the work of shuffling through a crowded rack of discount undies for me). But nothing felt 100% wow-this-is-so-me!
The box was $46.00 ($50.00 minus the $4.00 discount I got for keeping everything from last month), and my concern is that if I had that money back, I could've spent it on pieces I really loved. Here's the hopeful part—while Wantable Collections, like this one, are structured so that you get charged before you receive your package, and despite the fact that they don't include a return label and envelope like Wantable Edits do (since they charge you only for the products you try on and keep after a set time frame), you can still return pieces you really don't like for a refund. The only thing is that it takes a few more steps to get a return label, etc. That's something I'll have to consider with a few of these items!
What do you think of what I got in my Wantable Intimates box? What did you get in your box?
