This Boxycharm vs GlossyBox vs BeautyFix series compares my subscriptions every month to give you a good idea what you can expect from these popular beauty subscription boxes. (Boxycharm and GlossyBox are both $21 a month, and BeautyFix is $24.95 a month, so they seemed close enough in cost to compare!)

Check out my Birchbox vs Ipsy vs Sephora Play post series too!

Important to know: With Glossybox and Boxycharm, there are certain items that all subscribers will receive, but the remainder of items in the box will vary. With BeautyFix, all items are the same for all subscribers. (With the exception of perhaps different colors of a beauty item.)

Verdict: Well... Boxycharm is tough to beat! They are my favorite this month thanks to another great palette, but BeautyFix is a close second thanks to Nia 24.

What was your favorite box for September? And what was your favorite product?

Here are my general suggestions for which box to pick:

Boxycharm: If you are looking for full-size makeup, this is the box to go for. They consistently send out makeup in addition to haircare and skincare products. (You will quickly build up an impressive eyeshadow collection with this subscription box!)

GlossyBox: This is the best box if you're looking for trying out brands that you typically don't see in the US. You'll get a mix of US and EU brands. The one downside is that values of these boxes can vary depending on which variation you get, so make sure you're happy with the main spoiler items that everyone gets if you're thinking about signing up. (Please read the comments on GlossyBox reviews, too.)

BeautyFix: This is my go-to box for sampling a lot of high-end skincare products. They usually round out the boxes with a few makeup and haircare products, too. You'll get a mix of full-size and sample-size products.

Starting at $21.95

One of these months, could Leny box be added in to the mix? I would love to see a review of them in comparison to the others!

Leny Box does 5 fullsize products, retail $100+ supposedly, for $19.99 a month. From past months, it appears that one full size product could be a pallet or a brush set, even! They don’t have a lot of past boxes up, but I see some brands like Smashbox and bare minerals and Lior Gold Paris in there.

That is, if they are still active and around. I can’t find a lot on them.

I decided to subscribe to Beautyfix last night but had issues choosing PayPal so I gave up. When I tried today the free gift codes were no longer working.

I think something is telling me I shouldn’t subscribe. of course if a new code/discount shows up I’ll probably do it anyway ☺️

I get all three and love all three and will be subscribing to all three for awhile. Lots of great make-up (especially eye palettes) and brushes from Boxy Charm. Glossy Box has sent me nice variety of skincare and some make-up. Beauty Fix has some very nice skincare products and are a mix of skincare/supplements/ and a tiny bit of make-up.

I love that nail polish. I’ve never heard of that brand but it lasted a long time and has a great brush. Glossy has introduced me to some great products.

My favorite was beauty fix. I love the scrubbing tool that came with the Dermatologica. The hand cream is also awesome. I liked BoxyCharm too, but I have way too many eye shadow pallets.
